This 6 week course has been helpful for my running and general strength.Nigel explains everything clearly. It's not just about what to do, but also why each exercise helps improve an aspect of our running.I would highly recommend it whether a seasoned runner or a novice.
Did a 6-week running technique course with runtrue and found the course very helpful - my flexibility and strength for running have improved. Time will tell (!!) but I feel I'm a more confident runner as a result of the course.
As an older runner I was more interested in preventing injury than anything else. I had been suffering from sore knees for months prior to the course. Due to following the excellent exercises and the online videos, it has made such a difference to my life. I now no longer have pain in my knees and feel that I am running more naturally.Thank you so much Nigel, I couldn’t have asked for any more.
I really enjoyed this course. Over the weeks we learnt strength and conditioning and mobility drills that have already made a difference to my running. Breaking down the act of running and thinking about how everything is connected has allowed me to physically improve my running but also mentally. Now from having that understanding how to “run better”has increased my running distance but most importantly made me enjoy it more. When I first started this course I was recovering from an injury and worried about not making progress. I am now running pain free with confidence! Would highly recommended it
This course is really well structured, building up the mobility and strength exercises every week with the aim of making you a better runner. I feel like I’ve learnt how to run and feel much more powerful. Highly recommended for any runner of any ability.
A great course to firstly help you develop strength and mobility skills. Secondly it makes/enables you to think about running form and the connection between the skills/exercises you are taught and real life running.I now have a set of practices I will use in the future.
Brilliant course which has really changed how I feel running. I've run for years and as my distances increased had become increasingly stiff. the course has made me feel more fluid again. I was phased at first by the no stretch concept, but the mobility work is making perfect sense
I throughly enjoyed the 6 week mobility course. I joined a friendly group and Nigel was very informative and knowledgeable. The course is really interesting and challenging. I would definitely attend the course again in the future mostly because I found the sessions very beneficial. I aim to continue to work on the running exercises to improve and enhance my running and also the mobility work and drills were I can do.
I attended the course in April. I wanted to improve my running gait/style which in turn would hopefully lead to better and more efficient running and prevention of injuries. Nigel teaches you exercises in all areas of running which include foot function, movement, strength and balance. Each week you are shown various exercises in all of these areas which eventually lead to complete movements by the end of the course. You then take away these movements and utilise them at home and during your runs. I can only say that I have definitely noticed a change in my running and have definitely improved running uphill using stumps! A great course for any ability of runner.
