This has to be the single worst service I’ve ever come across. Honestly, it’s a disgrace that this company is still operating.It took them almost 2 hours (100 minutes!) just to bring me my car. When I complained, I was met with complete rudeness and arrogance — being told “listen to me, it’s busy” as if my time didn’t matter at all. Zero respect for customers.To make matters worse, they hit you with a hidden £20 fee for the Orange car park that is never mentioned when booking. It’s nothing short of dishonest and feels like a scam designed to squeeze more money out of people.I will absolutely be demanding a refund because companies like this should not be allowed to operate. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and downright deceptive.If I could give 0 stars or negative stars, I would. Do yourself a favour and stay as far away from this service as possible.
Terrible company operating from Stanstead. After booking and paying, we discovered we still had to pay an additional £20 to enter and exit the car park. This was not on the website and meant it cost more than other operators. When we arrived it took over half an hour for someone to collect our car. No check of the vehicle was carried out and it felt very unprofessional and dodgy. When we returned it took an hour for them to bring the car back to us despite repeated phone calls where we were told it was on its way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
The company I dealt with is called Safe Meet and Greet. I found them through the partner website Compare Parking Prices, which I now know is just as dodgy as the companies it promotes. Both should be avoided at all costs.Safe Meet and Greet are nothing short of thugs who lie to customers, show no professionalism, and behave aggressively when challenged. Without my consent they drove my car more than 30 miles, adding unnecessary mileage and putting my insurance at risk. They left me waiting for over two hours, delayed my collection, and when I questioned them about it they were rude, dismissive, and aggressive towards me. Their conduct was intimidating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. It is obvious they don’t know what they are doing and have no regard for customer safety or basic standards of care.Because of this, I have formally reported both Safe Meet and Greet and Compare Parking Prices to Trading Standards. Their behaviour is unsafe and dishonest, and in my opinion they should not be allowed to operate.The bigger problem is Compare Parking Prices. This website appears to funnel bookings into the same group of people, just using different business names to give the illusion of choice. When I checked Companies House, the connections between these names became clear. The contact centre gives fake names when you call, provides inconsistent information, and from the way they operate I don’t even believe they are UK-based – it is far more likely they are run from overseas, possibly India.On top of that, I can 100% confirm the positive reviews on the Compare Parking Prices site are fake and misleading. They are designed to trick customers into thinking these companies are reliable when they are anything but.Safe Meet and Greet, along with Compare Parking Prices, are unsafe, dishonest, aggressive, and incompetent. They cannot be trusted with anyone’s vehicle. For your own safety, peace of mind, and to protect your car, avoid them completely. There are far better and genuinely professional parking services available.
NEVER NEVER AGAIN. Booked a month in advance. Phoned ahead on way to STN as requested - they had no record of our booking. Got to STN car park waiting for car collection - after phoning again we were told we should be at Row H. Thanks for not telling us! The collector took a photo of our booking email. On arrival back at STN we phoned - had to repeat car registration about 6 times. Eventually told to expect a wait of 30-40 minutes for our car. We got the impression it was not out for delivery and they had to retrieve it from the middle of a field. Overall a horrific experience.
This is the first time I’ve ever been driven to write a negative review – but the service from Safe Meet And Greet (Stanstead) was frankly awful.I booked two weeks’ parking in September via Compare Parking Deals. Despite following instructions and calling 30 minutes before arrival, I was left waiting over 60 minutes with no real clarity on where exactly to drop the car (beyond “orange car park”).On my return, things were even worse. I called as soon as I collected my luggage, as instructed, yet still waited over an hour for my car to arrive. Calls often went unanswered, and when I did get through I was fobbed off with the same empty line: “just another 15 minutes.”The only saving grace – and the reason I’ve even given one star – was the driver who eventually brought the car back. He was polite, apologetic, and genuinely concerned about the problems. Unfortunately, his efforts were completely undermined by the company’s shambolic organisation and disregard for customers’ time.Travelling is stressful enough without this level of hassle. My advice: avoid Safe Meet And Greet at all costs. I’ll happily pay more next time to guarantee a reliable service.
I had a disappointing experience with Safe Meet & Greet Limited. During drop-off, the process was quite slow, and when I called on the phone, the staff member I spoke with did not come across as pleasant or helpful. Upon my return, it took over an hour and 15 minutes to get my car back, which was frustrating. Additionally, the staff on the phone was rude, which added to the dissatisfaction.The parking arrangements were also unclear—they mentioned I needed to pay the £10.00 fee upon entering but no mention I had to pay again £10.00 before exiting the car park, which caught me off guard. It also seemed that my car was parked quite a distance from the airport, which was inconvenient. Watched another person receiving their car with mud all over their car! Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this company based on my experience. For a more honest and efficient service, I suggest considering other parking options at Stansted in the future.
Absolute cowboys. Do not use! To be fair when we arrived at Stansted a member of the team was there to meet us, however on our return, after following the instructions provided we had to wait 1hr 30 mins for our car. It was the early hours of the morning, a number of other customers were also waiting for over an hour. Terrible service, no apologies given. Driver who delivered the car was rude and non-engaging. We were just told not enough stuff. Absolutely not good enough, these guys should not be running a business! Steer well clear is my advice.
