I went there last weekend to look for a sofa. Their sofas are comfortable, affordable, and beautifully designed. The employees were amazing, they were very useful in the decision of the fabric and colours.Definitely reccommended
I have chronic back pain so I asked for a wooden bench sofa with cushions but they sold us a stiff lounge sofa as they don’t have the model what I asked, the manager Martijn at seats and sofa Mijdrecht said he will give a big discount as the actual price was 2800 euros for just 2175 euros on 16th January 2025( delivery date promised of 12 to 16 weeks from the date of order. Over night we thought were tricked and sold a sofa which we never wanted to buy 🤔, next day 17th January I called to cancel the order a sales person answered the phone after calling for 10 times in the evening and wanted me to call next morning stating the Manager is available only in the next morning, I called manager Martijn on 19th he said I have to pay 30% if I want to cancel it 🥵.I paid 2175 euro full payment already, 30% Penalty is 650 euros is too too much for something where no work has been started with the order yet. I feel I am robbed🤷. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone in my life..
If there was a half-star review, I'd give it. The 1-star is for getting the sofa ready within the suggested timeframe. All you get from Seats and Sofas is a very expensive, horrible service. They delivered oversized sofas, and after filing a complaint, they called (after 3 working days) to let me know there was nothing they could do. They basically want to avoid making adjustments because they love squeezing every buck from you while providing a horrible service in return. Note, that I didn't specify the size of each seat, I provided them with the architecture of my house and they sent this. Apparently, it's my fault they didn't get the measurement right. Save your money, and use another provider. You'll definitely see a cheaper, better alternative.Re: They responded to my review and suggested I contact them. After contacting them, they make the same claim that the evidence I provided of the right measurement was for a previous sofa which I didn't order. Does the measurement change if I order a different sofa? Like I previously said, this is a horrible company that will never accept blame or work to solve issues. They just want to act like they care but they really don't. Order an expensive sofa at your own peril.
This company is a SCAM! I should have read the reviews before...I bought a sofa at their shop on Jan 11. They told me that the delivery would have taken approx. 6 weeks, which could have been extended up to 12 weeks in the worst case scenario. So I accepted the agreement and paid a deposit of 1700€.On Jan 30, I received an email from them with a document attached that they wanted me to sign, which stated that the sofa would have been delivered in 11-17 weeks, with a possible extension up to 29 weeks in the worst case scenario. This is completely different from what I was told at the shop while booking the sofa!!So my partner called the shop to cancel the order and get a refund of the deposit, but the agent told us that we should have paid 30% of the total amount as a cancelation fee. We tried to explain that this was totally unfair, since they were the ones who broke the agreement but she kept on repeating the same without providing any solutions and finally she just hanged up and cut the conversation.Last week I received a call from them and another lady wanted to convince me to accept the "new agreement" with 11-17 week delivery but I told her that I didn't want the sofa anymore and they should have sent a full refund. She told me that she would have talked to HQ but since then no updates anymore.Please be aware that we're trying to solve the issue with our lawyer, who advised that what you do is just illegal and you have a lot of reports pending because of this problem! Expect a letter from our lawyer in a couple of days!People, please DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY just because they have a wide choice of sofas, and don't make the same error we did! Just go and buy your items somewhere else!
After seeing a Seats and Sofas sofa at our friends house, we decided to also go there when choosing our new sofa. We went there twice. First time, was not exactly as expected. We didn't have any help from vendors so couldn't find anything at our pleasing. After discussing with our friends, they explained that we would need a vendor to help us build the perfect sofa for us. We then gave the store a second chance, and indeed it's very different if you shop there with someone helping you. Ruben helped us on that day, and he was very patient and friendly in helping us to build our dream sofa, even though we had second thoughts throughout the process. Worth noticing that you need to go there with time because they do have many possible options to build exactly what you wish since their modular system is very adaptable, and they have many fabric options from different price ranges. Also, they have nice room to give you nice discounts to support and encourage you to buy their product. Another important thing to know is that they can take quite some time (6-12 weeks) to deliver your new sofa since it's most of the times tailor made for you. We're now patiently waiting for our sofa to arrive, but seeing how our friend's sofa look I'm sur we won't be disappointed.
