Avoid This Store – Deceptive Pricing & Terrible Customer Service!🚨 Before buying from this store, look them up and read the news. They have been fined €350,000 for misleading customers. Don’t become their next victim!Timeline of the Scam:December 1, 2024 – I visited the store and spent 3 hours selecting a sofa. I checked the color, size, storage, and sofa bed functionality. I measured the sofa, opened the storage compartment, and tested the sofa bed. I assumed I was ordering what I saw in the store.However, the salesperson Senna failed to mention that the model she put in the contract did NOT include the storage and sofa bed. I signed the contract in good faith after validating the model name, configuration and number of seats.🚨 Price Manipulation Alert:The store does not have fixed prices. They keep a notebook with different prices for the same model.The initial price shown to me was around €3,000.After negotiating, they suddenly dropped the price to €1,700.Ultimately, I paid €1,845 (€1,700 + €145 delivery) – only to receive the wrong product.January 31, 2025 – The sofa was delivered, and to my shock, it was NOT what I had ordered. The storage and sofa bed were missing.I immediately contacted the store, but they refused to help, saying it’s “not their department.”I lodged an official complaint on their website – NO response.February 1, 2025 – I called the store again. They blamed me, saying:“You signed the contract, it’s your mistake.”“We can’t help you.”“You can take legal action if you want, we don’t care.” (I have the recording.)February 6, 2025 – I visited the store to escalate the issue. A store employee admitted Senna may have made a mistake while placing the order, and said I might get a replacement sofa if headquarters approves. (I have the recording.)February 7, 2025 – I had a call with Senna, the salesperson.When I asked her to connect me to her manager, she refused.When I asked her for a callback with her manager, she refused again, saying:“My manager is not available.”“We won’t be helping you anymore.” (I have the recording.)Why You Should Avoid This Store:❌ They manipulate prices with a secret notebook – charging whatever they want.❌ They show you one thing in-store but make you sign for another.❌ The salesperson, Senna, was polite before the sale but refused to help afterward.❌ They take no accountability for their mistakes and blame customers instead.❌ Even after visiting the store and calling multiple times, they refused to help or escalate the issue.Don’t Get Tricked Like I Did!I have recordings of all my discussions with the store proving their dishonest and unhelpful behavior. Fantastic service and selection. We visited the seat and sofa location in Zandaam with a lot of ideas for our new sofa. The team in the shop was patient, friendly and helpful. They offered us tea and coffee during our long time spent there. From the beginning until we finalised our sofa we got support from them. They helped us double checking the measurements and showed us a lot of nice fabrics from their huge selection. They even showed us around to shop to show us our favourite fabrics on the sofas available to get a better feeling how it will feel on the sofa. We left the shop with a new sofa and we are now waiting for the delivery. We are really excited once we can place it in our home.
What a disaster, we waited 5 month before our seat and sofa was delivered, after 3 month we entered a service/claim request, 2 months later a service men came by, 2 months later again with no solution. Now they told me the goods have to be returned to the manufacturer, at my cost, expected delivery time 3 months minimum and then I get the same problems again. This all happened with dozens of emails, phone calls without result. Proposals like money back, replace with another, repair at home is not acceptable to them
We went to Seat and Sofas yesterday to have a look and the attention and expertise provided by the employees was amazing, they helped us choose fabric, colours... according to our situation and budget and we couldn't be happier with the couch we bought, looking forward to have it at home!! 100% recommend.
I had a great experience with my purchase. I've recently arrived to the area and of course my Dutch is very mediocre to none at all so I was worried about ensuring I got the item that I wanted. I worked with an amazing salesman named Sharmen (I think I spelled that right) and he made sure that I was able to choose every aspect of the couch that I wanted and that I felt comfortable with the final product. Great place in my opinion and I can't wait to receive my couch. I have the same expectation that the couch will continue to everything I asked for. Thanks again.
