Review Time
We bought a very beautiful and expensive sofa from Seats&Sofas and to be honest, we really love the product itself. The seller was kind and helpful at the beginning, but unfortunately, the after-sales support was completely nonexistent.We waited patiently from September 2024 until April 2025 without complaining, understanding there might be delays. However , during this time, we noticed the same sofa being advertised at different prices. When we asked, they explained that the photos don't always reflect what is actually being sold something we found misleading. For example, what was described as a "corner sofa," they told us it only includes two seats, and everything else is considered an "optional add-on." That was never clearly stated in the product description.The biggest issue was with the delivery. The delivery company they cooperate with handled everything carelessly and in our opinion tried to profit unethically. From the beginning, we explained clearly that our home setup required a truck with a lift due to narrow stairs, and we asked for that to be arranged. They insisted it wasn’t necessary and reassured us everything would be fine obviously to avoid booking it in advance and charging us properly. In the end, they caused some minor damage to the walls while trying to push the sofa inside, and only *after* the failed attempt did they bring a lift. Of course, we were the ones who ended up paying extra for it, last minute.The only positive part of the whole delivery was the lift truck driver a very kind and professional person. When we finally received the sofa, it turned out to be slightly smaller than expected, and one cable was damaged (exposed wires although it still worked). We contacted the company, and instead of replying, someone showed up at our door unexpectedly to take measurements. By pure luck, one of us was home. They confirmed the size difference, but claimed this "can happen according to terms and conditions" although we thoroughly checked them and found no such clause. They also promised to fix the damaged cable… but they never contacted us again.To sum up: The product is beautiful, but there’s no real support behind it. We paid a lot, accepted compromises, and received almost no help when something went wrong. I personally avoided conflict because I value peace of mind but I do believe people should be aware that even if you pay top price, you shouldn’t expect warranty or support. I also spoke to a friend who had a similar bad experience — nice product, poor company. I’m just wondering… with so many good-reviews, are they all really genuine? 🤔
For a second time I've decide to to go to seats & sofas to search for a new couch for my salon, as expected I've find exactly what I was searching for and quality of service in their store in Amersfoort definitely deserves 5 stars. 3.5 years ago we purchased sofa from the same store and were very satisfied with price quality and everything. I give my recommendation to everyone who's wondering if the store is trustworthy
Good price-quality ratio. Great service, many options to choose from and accesible price. It’s great that you can adapt it to your needs. Some minor details from the finishing and pick up has to be arranged, but this is mentioned when purchased (so no surprises). Would gladly recommend.
We felt very well supported in our process of finding the right sofa for our new house. We hope that the delivery of the new sofa will be fast and that we can take it as soon as possible from the shop in Heerlen. We would recommend the SeatsandSofas Shop in Heerlen so far :-)One part of our order was missing in the order receipt, that is why we took away one star. Happy to give it back as soon as the missing part is on our list and the sofa is delivered!
This is our second purchase from Seats and Sofas, and we are very satisfied. Their customer service is among the best we've experienced in the Netherlands, making it easier to make an informed decision. The expert sales personnel helped us understand which materials would best suit our sofa choice and lifestyle as a family with young children. While we initially wanted to make additional customizations, the cost considerations led us to stick with the standard fittings. Overall, it has been a great experience, and I highly recommend Seats and Sofas to others.
Worst ever. Awful customer service. They have my money for 7 month and I have no sofas. Noone wants to take responsibility, I have never ever had such bad experience in my life. Every time you call they promis a date which never takes place. Please don't go there. There are much better places to purchase your furniture.
Sweet girl helping us build and design our sofa in the store, and it came as agreed, but when we put it together the pillows are not matching up in the corner. Looks like a manufacturing fault and not at all what you would expect from at 2600€ sofa. After sending a complaint and waiting about 5 weeks for feedback. We are told that this fault is within the error margins and nothing will be done about it. Important to note is that the margins cannot be shared with us, and we have never provided any measurements of the error. Waited 12 weeks for a botched sofa. Surprising that a shop who sells nothing but sofas doesn't know how to build one.
Our experience at Seats and Sofas Eindhoven has been wonderful. We had very specific requirements and that was met with a lot of patience and understanding by the store team. We eventually made a purchase at the best price, that has us both content and happy.We would certainly recommend the store to everyone.
