I found a sofa I liked on the 'Creation' website, but it didn’t list the dimensions, so we visited the store in Sliedrecht. Although the site advertised a significant discount, we learned it only applied to different fabric colors, which was disappointing.After realizing the sofa was too large for our living room, we decided to leave. However, the salesperson pressured us to stay and showed us other options, insisting we finalize a deal that day and promising we could choose the model and color later. This made me uncomfortable, as I prefer to make thoughtful decisions for my first home.The salesperson's persistence created a stressful atmosphere, and I felt relieved when we finally left. He kept pushing for a deal with a discount of only 200 or 300 euros, but I wanted something that truly suited my taste. Overall, it was a negative experience, and I’ve never encountered such pushy sales tactics before.
I had a very disappointing experience with this store. They advertise "this week only" discounts, but the prices never actually change. The promotional flyers show incredibly low prices, but when you try to buy the featured item, they charge up to ten times more—unless you settle for an unpopular color and low-quality fabric. On top of that, they use high-pressure sales tactics, insisting that you must buy immediately and that the discount will not apply if you leave the store. This feels misleading and dishonest. I would not recommend shopping here.
Buying a sofa here was super fast and easy! The prices are great, and the process was smooth from start to finish. Just keep in mind that delivery is completely on you—either you pick it up yourself or arrange for a third-party service. As long as you're okay with that, it's a great place to get a good deal quickly!
I bought a sofa from Seats and Sofa yesterday.The advice was very friendly and helpful. When I asked which fabric would be best for everyday use with animals, I was given several fabrics to choose from and advised on which would be most suitable. The consultant also offered a good price for the purchase price. Finally, we were shown the color variations of various sofas to give us an idea and help us make a decision.I can definitely recommend Seats and Sofa at the moment and hope that the collection goes just as smoothly.
Avoid This Store – Pushy Sales Tactics and Fake Discounts!If I could give zero stars, I would. We went to Seats and Sofas just to look around and check the sizing and comfort of different couches. From the very beginning, we explicitly told the sales staff that we were not looking to buy immediately—just browsing. However, the salespeople were extremely pushy and completely ignored our wishes.They started by quoting a ridiculous price of €4500 for a couch with our preferred seating and fabric choice (which wasn’t even the most expensive option!). Despite making it very clear that we were just looking, they followed us around, constantly pressuring us to buy. They kept claiming that their “special discount” was only available that day and that we would never get such a good offer again.We repeatedly stated that we needed time to think and that our budget was between €1000-1500. Yet, instead of respecting that, they suddenly dropped the price to €3500, then €2400, and when we still refused, they magically dropped it to €1700—all in a desperate attempt to get us to buy on the spot. The whole experience felt like a shady backroom deal rather than a legitimate furniture store.When we stood firm and refused to be rushed into a decision, they told us we could come back the next day but only for the €2400 price—not the €1700 they had just offered. This confirmed our suspicion that the “one-day discount” was a complete scam to pressure people into impulse buying.We left frustrated, angry, and having wasted two hours of our time. Later, we found the exact same couches for under €2000 elsewhere—brand new and without fake discounts. After reading online reviews, we discovered that many customers had missing parts, wrong deliveries, or never received their furniture at all!Do yourself a favor—stay far away from this scammy business! You’ll get a better deal and a far less stressful experience elsewhere.
