Review Time
As an executor for my father in law's estate, my experiences with this company have been horrendous! We have been trying to get lost certificated shares from just one company transferred into book form. We have made 5 submissions, still with no resolution. I have dealt with 2 other transfer companies with complete resolve. This company has the most ridiculous requirements of a 2-3 month deadline after the executor court order is made... much less for the heirs have time to react. Also, they would review your submission piecemeal, letting you know afterwards that they failed to point out other "flaws" in your previous submission. Still, no resolve.. lastly perhaps because they just changed their P.O Box, which I failed to notice. They brought me to tears. . This is pathetic! How can a company exist like this? Where are the feedback followups? This company is definitely an outlier. If I were the CIO, I would clean up shop or resign... One exception was that that the representatives answering my calls were consistently very respectful, though would give me conflicting advice. The process is broken, please fix it.!
Company could teach government about red tape. Constant roadblocks, ignore court orders in estates causing serious tax issues and ongoing market risk. No assistance whatsoever to facilitate liquidation of estate assets. Has literally been years and we cannot get assets released.
Wish I could give zero stars. Every time I contact the company I am given wrong information - wasted months trying to complete an ownership transfer after being told a notary signature was acceptable when it is not. Today I could not even do a password reset and of course their lines were too busy to accept a call. I hate dealing with this organization
If negative stars were possible. Customer service at this company is a nightmare to deal with. I have been trying to transfer stock into my name that I was joint owner of with my mother who passed away in 2022. Each time I submit paperwork after calling it turns out I was given the WRONG information on what was needed and the runaround about getting the correct paperwork. It seems with the latest issue, I can't even get the correct for emailed to me. This company is a NIGHTMARE to deal with.
If there is a negative star, I would give them that. They are very unprofessional. Their website doesn't work at all. They changed my address in their records without my consent, because of which I was impacted very badly. They don't entertain any form of email communication. Everything has to be postal mail communication and their post takes ages to be delivered to my address. They are a bunch of soul sucking people, who harass their customers and laugh at their customers..yes, their customer care representative harassed me and one of them laughed at me for all the mistakes that they did to me. If you want to really save your money and have peace of mind, just close your account with them. Oh, and this! They don't have account closure process. Can you believe it? Where are we? In dinosaur era??
This is the worst financial company I have ever worked with. How they manage dividends with overseas customers is a disgrace. It is an online platform (hence the name "Shareowner Online"). They needed me to send a FAX to confirm my USD account in a danish bank... FAX... In 2022? And they keep sending my dividend in the incorrect currency and changing the receiver account for the money wires. I have send them so many communications about this and wasted so much time - yet they remain complete ignorant. Pardon my direct language, but this level of services is unbelievable. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
