I bought a sharp microwave in November 2024, a couple of months ago and it no longer works. I have called lots of phone numbers for the manufactures warranty to provide repair or replacement but they all pass me to another number & then said that it us Currys responsibility for this particular model to replace. Currys have refused to help.Sharp microwaveModel number yc-ms02u-bSerial number yc-ms02ubs302924Phone numbers called are019191727770333014305503300240803Sharpconsumer website phone
Sharp tumble dryer 8kg KDB8S7PS91 I bought this dryer last year it has broken down 4 times and each time the engineer (pacifica) came it took 2 weeks to get parts the engineer came out today and it cannot be fixed. I can't get hold of Sharp nobody wants to help, you can't actually get to speak to anyone It'sall computer generated. It's still under guarantee/warranty I'm left without a dryer my husband is disabled and I really need a working machine.Nobody wants to help such poor customer service. I am never buying anything that has the Sharp name on it.Sharp again.
Sharp 8kg tumble dryer. Developed a fault today, 1 week left of guarantee. Called their repair company Pacifica. The woman was more concerned with going home at 5pm. Scraping the Sharp, and brought a new tumble dryer. NOT SHARP. Never buy Sharp again or use Pacifica repair company.
Sharp TV has broke again while on standby. It's a known fault with their TV's. The story with mine is i bought it on a sale from Tesco a few months before covid 19 landed as it was recommended by a friend that already had one. About 18 months in with the reciept & box long gone it just stopped working. Took it to the local TV repair shop then they informed me that it's cheaply made with the circuitry and internal electrical components causing the back lighting to fail if left on standby mode. Fair enough, I thought, It was cheap anyway! Armed with that knowledge and new back lighting I've managed to make the TV last another 2 and 1/2 Years but last night I left it on standby by mistake (as you do sometimes) and it's broke again. You really should be able to leave your TV on standby without it causing other problems like this as that's why the function exists. Poor design. Poor make of TV. Frustrating for me but surely more Frustrating for the manufacturer, 2020 the technology was at a point where this just isn't acceptable even for a cheap TV. I will now go out and buy a Samsung or Something high grade instead as generally their technology is reliable. You go sharp if you want but I personality wouldn't ever again after this experience with them ;)
Absolute crap customer service and products, my washing machine started leaking within 6 months of purchase waited a month for repair! And it cannot be repaired! I have been trying to get through to them for over 2 hours on hold!!! Absolutely appalling!!
I bought a Sharp double oven Cooker, what a mistake. It arrived 2 days before Christmas and the first time it was used one of the ceramic rings didn't work. On closer inspection the build quality is terrible. Cookers are normally quite heavy and well built but the Sharp is light and flimsy. I kept badgering the supplier but they were reluctant to replace it and were pushing for a repair. However according to them Sharp were not responding. After 5 weeks of banging my head against the wall I gave up and the Cooker went back. I'm still fighting for a full refund. So not only was Cooker faulty, there is no support when something goes wrong. I have since bought a Hotpoint.Far better quality all round.
Honestly worst tv I've ever owned, paid above what other brands are charging thinking it would be great. The tv is so slow using apps, throws u out of them constantly doesn't want to connect to the Internet even though my phones full signal sitting right next to it.
I complained to Currys and Sharp about the TV's lack of ability to hold tune with BBC 1 and BBC 2 channels. I have 2 TVs on the same aerial. My old Samsung works perfectly but the Sharp does not. To double check I plugged the old Samsung into the socket used by the Sharp and still the Samsung performs asexpected whereas the Sharp does not.I have been reliably informed that the problem is the inferior quality of the Sharps's inbuilt tuner. I will buy a new Samsung (and definitely not from Currys as they were no help either) and consign the Sharp to the bin where it belongs. Sharp products and Currys, never again.
I found it has insufficient instructions on how to use it. None of the prompts seem to help, compared to the Panasonic I replaced it with it is definitely a disgusting microwave. I was very disappointed with it. these things you buy in good faith and can't return them for a refund . The company isn't helpful AT ALL.
