1 year old baby and severely Autistic adult with a broken washing machine for 6 weeks now. Sharp still have not repaired or replaced it, despite multiple calls to them. We had gastroenteritis over christmas, 4 weeks after we first reported a problem, with no way to wash clothes in our own home. It has broke multiple times during warranty at no fault of our own. Baby and I just want to be able to wear clean clothes reliably.
Had the microwave less than a year and microwave guide cover tabs broke off. I called to get a part number so I could order a new cover but the csr assigned a case number and offered to sell me a new guide cover. I said that's fine but can I get the part number for future reference. The response was we can sell you the part. Can I have a part number? We can sell you the part. I ended up saying thank you and hanging up. Not much customer support just want to sell you their parts
Slimline Dishwasher now 7 months old - so far the engineer (once we had tracked down Pacifica who are the service agents who manage and assign the repair engineers) has been out twice (we are now awaiting the next visit). Gets to a point in any cycle and then stops, flashes lights and continually bleeps. Last time the problem stopped temporarily when the machine was removed (again) and tipped on its side. This is by far and away the least reliable machine we have ever owned EVER.We will not buy another Sharp product regardless of the 'value' it appears to offer.
15 month old washing machine broke on 7th January. It took 2 weeks for an engineer to come out to tell me it needs a new motor. It's been used in a one person household, so minimal use. Now over a month on, no sign of engineer coming back. AO.com not interested. Avoid both AO.com and Sharp.
I purchased the Sharp 6KG ES-FE610CZ-W front load washing machine in July 2024. Shortly after the warranty expired, it developed a loud noise. The local Sharp service team charged a fee equivalent to half the cost of the machine to fix it. However, the repair only lasted six months before the same noise issue returned, and the machine is now malfunctioning again. The build quality and reliability of this product are extremely poor. My humble request don't waste your hard earned money in buying such a bad quality product
Dreadful service will never get a Sharp appliance again.Tumble dryer broke down twice still under warranty and each time engineer cancelled visit. Waited over 6 weeks and still have a broken machine. Had no machine all over Christmas and now cancelled again. Get fobbed off each time between repair centre and subcontractors. Unacceptable, AVOID.
Sharps condenser tumble dryer 16 months old under 2 year warranty. Failed power board. Arranged outsourced repair via Pacifica. Waited 8 days for service engineer to attend despite having elderly relative undergoing cancer treatment requiring frequent laundry, a 6month old baby and two children under 12 which had no effect on prioritisation. Advised Pacifica the appliance required a new power board. Engineer arrived after 8 days, stayed 5 minutes advising “requires new power board”. I had to hold my breath. No date for return visit. All calls to Pacifica go unanswered. A very stressful experience with no resolution in sight. Avoid at all costs.
CUSTOMER SERVICE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!washing machine broken. Engineer out in 27th NOV. Stated washing machine would be written off and replaced (under warranty). Heard nothing from them. Called back on the 1st December, no update. Called again few days later as still no update. Told parts are on order which makes no sense as machine was to be written off. Extremely bad communication on their part. A week later.. still nothing. Called AGAIN. Lady said 6 parts on order, 4 there, 2 waiting arrival. Will call once arrived. Asked why we were told one thing and now something else. This is ridiculous. Extremely unhelpful on the phone too. It’s not a MONTH later and we still have NO UPDATE. Avoid this company and their appliances like the plague!! Absolute shambles, terrible terrible customer service. Will never ever use them again.
We bought a Sharp condenserTumble Dryer 12kg in 2023, at €499 it was the most expensive machine in the store. Despite it being a reverse tumble machine it tangled clothing and bedding/sheets roll into a ball. Worse was to come. Exactly 2 weeks after the guarantee expired, the machine broke down completely. Drum turns but no drying function.Filters always kept clear, no error codes. Called the supplier, not interested as gtee had expired. Wrote to Sharp, no reply. Took machine to a reputable local repairer, paid for inspection and was told it was a VERY exensive repair, not worth doing, requires a new compressor/heat pump. Wrote again to Sharp, no response whatsoever. Called them by phone and have been told as its out of gtee, call out charge alone is 115 € just for an engineer visit, then repair chargeable after that. Sharp used to be a well known Japanese brand, with a good reputation for customer service, but now it has sunk to such depths. Would I buy anything Sharp again? No, never ever! 500€ wasted and you will get no help from their appalling customer service! AVOID SHARP!
