No complaints with any of the products

We have multiple sharp products. Very happy with our 75 inch TV, excellent sound and great picture, owned for 3/4 years now. Two tumbles have been great, our first one has been going years and is much better than the top rated beko we had. The fridge has been fine, although it didn’t include frost free which you’d expect this day and age but for the price I’m not complaining. In my opinion sharp offers good products at fair prices. Very surprised by their rating on here as we’ve been nothing but impressed each time.

Customer Un-Support

Had a Sharp fridge freezer and i believe the temperature sensor has broken because the fridge keeps freezing. I purchased an new thermostat sensor probe and i asked Consumer Support the location of the sensor so i could get it replaced. The Support Centre would not provide the information on the location of the sensor and wanted to send their own engineer at significant cost to myself to 'evaluate' the problem. Useless Support

Bought a Sharp YC-QS302AU-B Solo…

Bought a Sharp YC-QS302AU-B Solo Microwave - Black- first one had an E32 on it after using the microwave for 3 minutes, ordered a replacement which arrived damaged, a chunk of plastic off the door. Would never buy Sharp again. Spoke to Sharp UK and not concerned at all.

BROKEN DISHWASHER STILL NOT FIXED

Bought Sharp dishwasher less than 18 months ago with a two year manufacturers warranty. About 5-6 weeks ago is stopped working and we called Sharps contact details. We contacted by Pacifica group who cover repairs under the warranty and they arranged an engineer to come. To cut a long story short, after 4 engineer visits, the dishwasher could not be repaired and after calling them twice, i was fobbed off saying they will look into the issue and would come back to me within 48 hours. Did they? NO. I then emailed them twice for an update but still no response and our dishwasher still not working. Would I buy Sharp products again, NO! Why is Ofsted not taking action to ensure they repair or replace broken appliances?

YC-MC422

I have a Sharp microwave (YC-MC422). It is supposed to be 42 litre capacity but this is a lie - it is 32 litres. It has been designed by engineers who don't cook and is essentially useless as a kitchen tool. Many automatic functions (which no-one needs) don't work. The oven takes ages to get to temperature (max 220 which is hopeless). The grill doesn't grill unless you put something within 4cms.I could go on.I have tried to get this feedback to Sharp but it would be just as useful to send it to my cat (dead btw).If it breaks down then getting it fixed by Sharp would be impossible.

I brought a Sharp heat pump tumble…

I brought a Sharp heat pump tumble dryer KD-HHH8S7GW2 a cooker of years ago and had nothing but issues. Three times a known capacitor kept blowing, apparently a known fault. Issues with it not drying correctly due to a door switch which we replaced ourselves, not the condenser had gone making it beyond economical repair. Tried in the first instance to get hold of Sharp direct to get a replacement only to be told we have to use Pacifica who look after the maintenance and repairs for Sharp. So not only are Sharp useless but so are Pacifica. I will never, ever buy the cheaply built garbage they produce again

Sharp Aquos Google LED LCD TV Model 50FN2KA

I bought a Sharp Aquos Google LED LCD TV Model 50FN2KA from my local Asda store on May 26 2023. I paid £329 for the TV which turns out was just money down the drain. On November 8 2025 the TV screen went black. I did some research online and found that the TV screen going black was a very common and much reported fault with Sharp TVs. I went through all of the TV reset actions I could find but could not resolve the problem. I also found that the life expectancy of a LED LCD TV was between 5 and 10 years. I had to purchase a new TV (certainly wasn’t a Sharp product) so I opted for a Polaroid Roku TV 4K UHD model P43U3421SKB (Produced for Asda). I purchased the new TV from my local Asda store and paid £172. The new TV performs so much better than the Sharp Aquos Google TV and better £ value.Since my Sharp TV was less than 2 ½ years old I decided to let Sharp know about the problem in the hope that they could provide some technical assistance. On November 15 2025 I used the Contact Sharp Customer Support online enquiry form to provide feedback on my issue. The Sharp website advises that ‘someone will get back to you soon’. Days later and I have had no contact from Sharp so I don’t know what they mean by ‘soon’. I’ve now got to arrange to get rid of the Sharp TV at my local recycling centre.I think that Google and Asda need to think very carefully about how they select the suppliers they deal with. The Sharp to Google software interface for this TV is absolutely useless and I’ll certainly not be purchasing Sharp products in the future.

AVOID SHARP!!!!!

If I could rate Sharp customer service -10 I would!! For months I have had issues with my washing machine, emailed, called NUMEROUS time and no response, EVENTUALLY got someone to talk with, engineer sent who advised it’s the barring , new parts ordered and arrived, engineer returned to find out the new drum wasn’t delivered… tried again to get hold of people again, no response , again eventually eng said will be with me this morning at 7.30am-8am, nope, never turned up, called the number, no reply, text, no reply, eventually got hold of someone who said I’d get a call within an hour, you guessed it , no call! I am APPALLED with the service, utterly APPAULLED!!! Never EVER buy SHARP!!!

Bought Sharp TV in April 2025

Bought Sharp TV in April 2025. By October 2025, the screen had large spots on 3 corners, then vertical lines running through it, then blackness. Phoned retailer (Curry's), told to contact Sharp. Sharp hard to get, eventually got them. Told they would repair tv, I would be without tv for 3 - 5 days. Why should I be without tv for something that was manufacture's fault? I rejected that. They told me I could get replacement from retailer (another story with them). Appalling manufacturing from Sharp. Poor customer relations (operative couldn't care less that I would be left without a tv). I now have a new Bush tv. Picture quality, sound def etc all totally superior to Sharp. Would NEVER recommend Sharp. I am still pursuing replacement for original tv.

Terrible experience with Sharp washing machine- DO NOT BUY!!

Terrible experience with their washing machine, after less than a year of owning the machine I heard loud screaching noise, opened the machine and found a simple zip of my hoodie (still attached to the hoodie) stuck inside the drum, turns out it made a hole in the drum. the warranty provider Pacifica was absolutely useless, engineer ended up coming on the wrong date (so I lost a whole days of leave at work), even thoigh engineer submitted the report straight away it took Pacifica 3 weeks to get back to me after chasing every few days. Engineer report stated that the hole was not caused by mechanical fault and so warranty won't cover it. Surely a washing machine should be able to handle a simple hoodie with a zip??! DO NOT BUY SHARP WASHING MACHINES, ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH, AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, WARRANTY IS USELESS.
