Don’t trust the Shell App

Don’t trust the Shell App - filled up at Shell Broken Cross Macclesfield using the app to pay for the fuel except I think a disgruntled attendant canceled the operation while I was using the pumps without my knowledge. This defeats the purpose of the app as I have a disability so wouldn’t buy fuel unless it is self service otherwise would simply have gone elsewhere. Now I have a Forcourt Eye letter asking me to pay for the fuel (no probs there), but they want me to pay additional costs! Have complained to Shell and they seem to have a bad attitude or prejudice problem.

Charged twice in store refused to refund me despite me doing what they told me to do. Was told to come back if it shows as complete transaction on my bank statement and they would issue a refund..when I did this they refused again..Amy team manager rude and rob langford area manager didn’t call me when he said he would..had to get my bank to sort issue out for me..really poor service really disappointed as was excited at the store opening as I live local

Awful company

Awful company. Started buying fuel as they had a card done my ten visits and they gave me a £1 bonus what an insult after spending about £400 pounds . You can keep your pound I will go elsewhere. What an absolute joke AVOID AVOID AVOID

I have been using this petrol station…

I have been using this petrol station for over 20 years.Always getting the better service from all of staff.The forecourt always clean,shop and toilet also very clean.I am so sorry about the person who was making comments about the fuel price and cleaness about the petrol stations.You shouldn't be driving and you should take the bucket and sponge to clean.What is that means, Very poor English, You come to fill up your car pay and go.Are you an English???Not to make comments or complaints.The sale assistants they are always helpful and polite.They don't get paid very well for their jobs and time.And lastly, Sales assistant called Mr Mathy he is the best out of all of the team.I wish him all the way to succeed in his future.God bless you all.

Inflated price and reward scheme

Shell are the only petrol station in the town (next nearest being 25miles away and round trip of hour and half) and they purposely inflate the cost of fuel. At times over 10p a litre compared to next nearest garage. Apparently the isolation of the town is the reason why they inflate the price. It didn’t seem to be the case when they could undercut all the competitions in the town to drive them to closure…disgusting. Also Shell Go+ is a complete waste of time…£700 spent for a £1.80 voucher which had a 30 day expiry. What a pathetic scheme!

Spent over £4500 on diesel for an HGV in just 10 visits for a £1 reward. Think its a poor reward scheme and shell need to look at there rewards if they want to keep custom..

I m a taxi driver i spent about £700…

I m a taxi driver i spent about £700 for filling my minibus they gave mr £1 on shell go card.it s ridiculous. They r scamming people. I could have gone to cheaper stations instead and my saving would be huge compared to £1.£1 does not cover my time charge i used on my phone to present shell bulshit card

Be prepared to be treated poorly by the manager

Shell 22 Fleet Road , Fleet Unbelievably rude and ignorant manager , coffee machine was not working correctly and gave me the wrong coffee , Manager shouted at me and accused me of trying to not pay , I was stunned at his rude and aggressive approach , he offered no help and kept accusing me of attempting to steal a coffee by not paying , 3 times i told him what happened and many many times he responded like I was s thief trying to steal ... horrible experience I put £5 cash on counter and walked out without a coffee , I didn't even wait for my change . I am unlikely to buy anything in this place again they do not deserve my custom with such unbelievably unhelpful and rude staff .. To make matters worse I have frequented this place 5/6 times a week for 2 years so to be accused abruptly of trying not to pay is hugely offensive

Rude and ignorant staff ....definitely need training in customer care ..

Holywell shell garage just outside chipping norton...staff are rude and ignorant ....they w ill serve you in their time ...will never return ...would rather drive to Bloxham or banbury than go there ....
