So they are robbing you of money in…

So they are robbing you of money in short. I have studied in UK I been charged on a monthly basis 180 Pounds. Since I completed my studies. So it is a blatant lie that they will wait for you to have a proper income so they can charge you. EVEN IF YOU REPAY YOUR 10000 POUNDS IN FULL and the Extra Charge of 6000 which I did. THEY WILL STILL CHARGE YOU. Please do no trust this company, it offers nothing for words and take your money and overcharge you. Make yourself a favor get a scholarship do not pay for studies in UK.

Utterly useless...

It's seems their only form of contact is through social media if you want to get any sort of refund back from them. A painful experience who's response is constantly "As it's been longer than 72 hours, we have to re-confirm your security details." Useless government company that is quite clearly a reflection of our existing government in terms of being a complete shambles.Pathetic.

Site terrible, service terrible. Whole thing terrible.

Site produced an error as I tried to create an account to support my step daughter's application. Ever since I'm stuck in limbo. Can't register as it says I already exist, can't reset as it says I don't exist! Sat on the phone for an hour (!) yesterday to be given a customer ref nbr and be told an email was being sent to me. Guess what? 24 hours later and no email!! Totally incompetence backed up by horrendous IT. Not fit for purpose. Back on the phone I go, as I've nothing better to do.

Can't afford to find out why I still have no money

They are late with my money and I can't find out why because the wait time on the helpline is 1 hour+ and I can't afford that phone bill because of said lack of money. Nearly low enough on cash to have to use the student food bank. It says on the website all is good and I should have got my money 5 days ago. >:(

Horrendous

Horrendous Poor pay, favouritism, poor contract, no sick pay whilst on probation which accumulates over the years, claim to offer flexible working but don’t offer it, poor management and some staff look down on new starters.

SFE make my life hell every year

I have never ever had a positive experience with Student Finance England. I wish I could put a 0/5. They make the whole process unnecessarily difficult and stressful and there's no guarantee the phone advisor's actually know the system well enough to give you advice. A terrible, terrible organisation.

Deborah is a 5* credit to your company

I received a letter advising me that I was within 12 months of finishing my payments, and they advised I should switch to direct debit.I hadn't even thought of this so I didn't have the email address, the phone number or any of that info.I called to speak with them, and I was on hold for about an hour - I understand that something has happened so they're very busy, it can't be helped but...It was so worth it just to be served by Deborah. She was absolutely fantastic despite obviously a very difficult time. She was so funny, bubbly and chatty whilst being incredibly helpful. I could not recommend her enough + she needs recognition from her bosses because it was a stellar example of customer service. Deborah, I hope the rest of your week got better + you enjoyed your payday breakfast - my partner and I loved ours! Thank you again for being so incredible and helpful.

I wanted to share some feedback…

I wanted to share some feedback regarding the services provided by your finance students. While I appreciate the effort put forth by your organization, there are some areas in which I believe improvements could be made:Lack of Timely Responses: I have noticed that there can be significant delays in communication and responses when I've reached out to your finance students for assistance. This has sometimes resulted in missed opportunities and added stress.Inadequate Understanding of Complex Financial Concepts: In some instances, it appears that the finance students may not have a deep understanding of complex financial concepts, which can be crucial for the tasks they are assigned.Inconsistent Results: The results or recommendations provided by the finance students have been inconsistent, making it challenging to rely on their services for crucial financial decision-making.Communication Skills: There have been instances where the communication skills of the finance students could be improved, which has caused misunderstandings and frustration.
