Review Time
Firstly, indicating a one star review is far too kind, there should be an option to provide a minus value review for my experience with Snapbuy. Looking at existing reviews, clearly many people have had the same problem as me. I purchased an electric razor from Snapbuy on 10/10/25 but as it turned out, it wasn't required when it arrived. The product was returned unopened the same day I received Snapbuy's approval to return, with a return address in the UK. I have tracking confirmation the package was delivered. I have recorded 17 email correspondences with their German headquarters repeatedly saying they're looking into it, asking for tracking details they already have etc. After 4 months I have not received a refund, their responses are simply stalling tactics to avoid refunding my money which they have clearly no intention of doing. From Trustpilot reviews, this is clearly not an uncommon practice by Snapbuy which is both unacceptable and distasteful but yet continues.
10/11/25 - PLACE ORDER10/24/25 - SNAPBUY EMAIL INDICATING THEY WERE CONTACTING COMPANY & WAREHOUSE.11/19/25 - SNAPBUY EMAIL INDICATING THAT ADDRESS WAS INCORRECT. IT WAS CORRECT.11/24/25 - SNAPBUY EMAIL INDICATING FULL REFUND PROCESSED AND RECEIPT IN 1-3 DAYS.11/28/25 - SNAPBUY EMAIL OFFERING TO REFUND 20% AS A GESTURE OF GOODWILL. THIS CAME 4 DAYS AFTER THE INDICATED FULL REFUND.12/02/25 - SNAPBUY EMAIL INDICATING THAT THEY COULDN'T PROCESS REFUND DUE TO A BANK ISSUE. PURCHASE AMOUNT ALREADY ON CREDIT CARD ACCT.THIS HAS BECOME COMICAL.
No customer service . I ordered a vacuum cleaner which arrived after six days. By which time I’d managed to get the Dyson working again so arranged to return the vacuum cleaner, which hadn’t been unpacked from its box. But I need a returns number with a barcode so I can present this to my local DHL shop or they can’t ship the item back. I have been provided a returns address to somewhere in Essex. It’s impossible to get hold of anybody at Snapbuy, they’re not responding to emails or requests to call back - and they won’t accept goods without a tracking number from DHL. It seems I’m stuck in a bit of a loop here. I bet it’s a bloody Chinese company, they have form for this type of thing in my experience.
