I had a voucher and wanted to use the “buy one, get one free” offer. The whole process took nearly two hours and was extremely frustrating.At first, one sales assistant helped me choose some frames, but after spending about 30 min, another staff member came over and told me that the previous advice was wrong. I repeatedly said I wanted £90 glasses, but they kept insisting on showing me £130 ones instead.In the end, I was so tired and frustrated that I ended up buying a £50 pair of low-quality glasses. I also noticed they were behaving in a similar way with another customer at the same time.Overall, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had buying glasses. I’m not sure if all branches treat customers like this, or if it’s just this one.I definitely wouldn’t recommend this store.
Absolutely shocking service in the past two years. Glasses are uncomfortable and have been for two years. They bend the nose pads for me which never helps. Have had my nose pads adjusted about 8 times! Today I went back and said I have been coming to various Specsavers for 2 years and my glasses are painful. “ oh let me adjust the nose pads” I laughed. I told her I was tired and need to speak to somebody who knew about glasses she looked confused! I wanted to sit down with someone and chat about what we could do. She looked confused. Don’t go to Specsavers they look confused!
Repeatedly tried to call the West Bromwich store—no answer, or book on line. Every time I was told to leave a message but I cannot take callbacks during work hours. Even after emailing the CEO’s office the response completely ignored my request and suggested a callback I cannot take.Frustrating, unhelpful, and clearly no one reads emails properly. I’ve had to take my business elsewhere.
My 93 year old mum is still waiting for Specsavers to follow up on the home visit eye test? Specsavers cancelled one visit due to traffic! This visit was rearranged but this time (yesterday) Specsavers just didn't show up- no explanation, no contact. This is absolutely disgraceful leaving a 93 year old vunerable individual without up to date prescription glasses and not even bothering to provide an explanation. Updated- I do not use Facebook, X or Instagram??
