Specsavers home visit service left a very poor impression after their recent visit. they are based in Park Royal NW10. The 83 yr old patient i care for had a visit from Jaya Bhudiya who recommended he needed glasses and proceeded to push on him £350 bill…… She never applied his discounts/exemptions as an 83 yr old who hasn’t left the house since Covid and only considered her role a s a salesperson. After paying for the glasses he called me confused and upset because he doesn’t have much money and felt exploited. I called specsavers the next day for a refund and was met with resistance initially, with Nadim not wanting to refund, but eventually we got the refund as Marcus was much more helpful.I don’t think pensioners should be treated this way as this man clearly qualifies for reduced prices and being talked into such expensive glasses to buy ,when it’s clear he only has had basic versions before. It feels like Specsavers cannot be trusted in these situations unfortunately.
It was an emergency as I had broken my glasses… everyone was very helpful. The lady who helped me choose my glasses went above and beyond fixing my glasses until my new ones arrived. She helped me choose my new frames and knew exactly what suited me. I can’t recommend Specsavers at Scunthorpe enough. Upon collecting my glasses they were helpful and efficient. Very pleased overall.
Aside from the great selection of frames and amazing prices, it was the service I received from the outstanding staff at this location of SpecSavers. Initially, Shabbar greeted me and assisted me in finding the right frames. I must have tried on every frame in the store however sales person Shabbar was patient, kind and helpful. He explained the pricing structure and process in a clear and professional manner. Once I had made decisions on two frame choices, Keith's friendliness and expertise in ensuring the proper fit of the frames assured me that I had come to the right place for eyewear. I received a very polite message when the glasses were ready for pickup and when I arrived at the store, Harmon expertly adjusted the frames a number of times to be sure that they fit my face and so my vision was restored to better than ever. She was simply lovely to deal with. It has been a week since this experience and I couldn't be more pleased with my glasses. The prices and quality are unbeatable, but this location's staff is what made me a customer for life.
I have been using specsavers for years and only buy designer brands as Iam a designer. I took in my recently bought a couple months ago Marc jacobs frames as the leg had fallen off whilst sitting watching tv no joke, to your Bristol branch where they said it was under warranty and insured as they cannot fix and an issue with the legs on this particular pair, so I took them back to the store I bought then from Bath spa and they said they could not replace and wanted me to leave with them to talk to a manager. I have not heard anything from there manager in over a week and a half and I’m using my old pair of mark jacob frames which I mind you the anti glare film is coming away from them so I can’t see properly and they are not the right prescription anymore. I need effective glasses as I use them everyday and it’s my job! . I’m a designer and only buy marc Jacob’s for the past 10 years or so , I can’t believe I have paid a premium for these frames and you can’t even fix them!!! The glass is fine the frames are beautiful but how can they be under warranty still only buying them in June and you can’t fix or replace them? I had the same frames when I lived in Australia and when the leg fell off I payed to fix them, It’s absolutely outrageous and disgusting that a different branch has qualified them as a fault in the frames. I either want a free replacement (but not so confident in these frames anymore) or a full refund and I will take my business elsewhere, so I can build a life long relationship with another company as Iam a loyal customer, I thought you were the leading company in glasses in the uk this is poor work on your part, hope to hear from you soon Kind Regards Leslie Allan
As a mature adult 75 years of age over the past two weeks I went to Specsavers in Ashbourne where I spent €1,190.44 after my PRSI allowance to upgrade glasses for my wife and myself Today I travelled from Portraine to collect my glasses and when I arrived at the shop I asked to use the bathroom but was told they had a company policy that doesn’t allow customers use their bathroom This was the third time I gave this company my business and it’s the last time as they have no respect for customers or their age Has anyone else had a similar experience from this horrible company is the same policy applied to disabled people
