Review Time
Having problems with contact lens so had several appointments given different options but problem not resolved. At the last appointment original prescription given . After explaining that these were the ones that was initial problem . Just told they were what I needed. So decided to get glasses which am waiting for. Going to try contacts when not having to drive ( safely reason) if no better giving up on them.
Absolutely excellent customer service from Claire and Lorna (Stockport Audiology Dept) this morning. Lorna and her team are always, without exception, and in my opinion, very friendly and professional and kind.They are all a credit to Specsavers.
Specsavers ireland / mahonpoint Absoutley terrible, family of three took 2 hours and 20 minutes, complete shambles how their time is organized, anorher point was in hygeine, the machines smelt and there was no cleaning process in between customers, this is my second bad expereince there, first time they gave my son wron glasses,
I broke my glasses and had to book an emergency appointment, unfortunately my glasses weren't recoverable but I did have a great experience with Jaspreet at the Nottingham Wheeler Gate branch, he helped me pick out new glasses and kindly steered me away from the ones that wouldn't quite work for me. I then went to go pick up the glasses and Matthew was also pretty great and his service was great, so all in all a great experience and would highly recommend going into that branch, I personally have never had a bad experience with this branch! :)
Bridgend Adare branch staff were fantastic. Amy (optometrist) and Stuart (manager) in particular. But the whole thing has been a nightmare. I couldn't get on with new "improved" prescription, they were changed back to the original, no issues with that, but the frames were too tight, dug into my head and gave me a sore ear despite having the exact same frames. I have been back in 3 times to try to get the frames comfortable and have been told today there was nothing that could be done when I attended Sainsbury's branch in sarn, Bridgend. I ended up in tears and was just glared at by the manager because the whole thing has been a complete saga. I Was hoping to see Stuart as he was sympathetic, patient and understanding. The manager at Sainsbury's branch today 11/09 was impatient, rude and unhelpful. Only option given was to go back to my old glasses (so why did I pay?) or get a refund. Very hesitant and lacklustre to suggest a different type of frame. Sorry to say I don't think I'll be returning to Specsavers. I still have an incredibly sore ear and was even told to "put tape on them". I was also advised that the glasses (if I had them refunded) would also need to be taken back to the original store. I am disabled and after 5 visits I can't cope any longer. This ordeal has caused me nothing but anxiety. Feeling incredibly frustrated, depressed and angry.
Have used Specsavers in Midsomer Norton for several years. I have not had a bad experience - yet. Very experienced polite staff, well dressed too. They meet you at the door and guide you through. My only complaint is that they are dealing with middle/old age customers so why dont they provide a toilet. This is a personal service. I had to wait behind 10 other customers. I am disabled and could not walk to the toilet in the High Street they suggested so I went home. I am sure this must have been raised before.
I purchased 2 pairs of varifocal glasses from Specsavers and when I got them I just couldn’t wear them. Purely because, as I thought the measurements were completely wrong. I contacted Specsavers and over a month later I now have my new glasses that I can wear.
