Probably worst Toyota dealer in area. Multiple problems with car and left on my own regardless electrical issues under warranty. Sales team highly recommended but after sale don't know even how to describe such a poor customer service.
My partner has just purchased a Toyota from Steven Eagell, and although the salesman outstanding, when it came to picking up the car it had not had the stone chips and marks on the front of the vehicle sorted out as had been agreed and the valeting was no better than a quick hose down and I expect the interior of a car just purchased to smell and look fresh, neither were applied here.It makes all the difference and when discussing this with the salesman, it turns out that they have no say over what contract companies they use as head office contracts them. They need to learn that obviously the cheepest is not the way to go and allow the garage to choose who they use. Sadly not a good experience.
Tonight at 19.40 I got a call from Toyota Steven Eagell St Albans. It’s a Monday evening and I’ve just sat down after a long working day and rejected the call as it didn’t want to be talking to customer services about renewing my car finance that is finishing in September (6months away) at nearly 8pm in the evening. They rang again, I rejected the call again (for all they knew I could of been rejecting whilst driving / in hospital / in a meeting) they then called up for a THIRD time this is all within a couple of minutes. I knew what it was about I said it’s late to be calling this is a joke I’m not interested and hung up the phone. They then called back again seconds later! Asking why I hung up, not taking no for an answer so I had to hang up again. I am so annoyed they called 4 times at this time at night when their hours online said they should be shut! I will be writing a written complain via email too. Not impressed.UPDATE: The same salesman Adil Islam started calling me again past 8pm last night, he only stopped when my boyfriend got on the phone. So after me telling him not to call me late on Monday he called me even later Tuesday night again multiple times. This is harassment. I also emailed a complaint Monday evening and not heard back yet.
Romford branch. Carnage… just one word. Having some works done… (not warned about) absolutely no staff helping people. Creating dangerous road situation on the A127 (eastern ave) from all the cars queueing to get in. Couldnt get my car parked to have the repairs done. So had to drive away. No one wanted to help… I wont be buying another toyota after this one goes….diabolical…
Steven eagle bedford.tried to order parts, told they would be there following day. arrived to collect to be told parts on back order?parts never arrived, fobbed off when phoning multiple times.complained to head office,No Response! would not even give me dealer principles name. contacted another dealership who supplied all parts within 2 days and could not have been more helpful.
This review is a follow on from my previous reviews of this company - see Disappointed and Bitterly Disappointed.We picked our new car up a week last Friday and as you will see from the previous reviews the dealership promised a 3 year Service Plan and a Solar Charger and I asked for this to be available prior to collecting the car - but it wasn't and the sales person knew nothing about the arrangement that had been agreed with the General Manager.As nothing appeared the week after delivery my wife chased it up last Saturday and was told that the General Manager had approved the Solar Charger and it was on order but the Service Manager was not available to discuss the 3 Year service Plan.I have now spoken to 3 customers that have had problems with this dealership and I have to say that this is without doubt the worst service that we have had with any car dealership and I really would not recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing a car.
Awful; I had a slow puncture which I told Toyota Tunbridge Wells about when they were completing my MOT, I was told that there was no problem (despite the tyre losing 20psi every two days!!!), I had to have the tyre replaced a few days later! They also forgot to put my service book back in the car and so posted it back to me, they didn't cover the postage and so that cost me £1.50!!! Really poor service.
Excellent service from start to finish. Understanding and never pushy. The sales rep, Tommy at Colchester Toyota, was professional and personable and was able to get our purchase ready in super quick time. Love the car too!! New C-HR is beautiful!
