Every time we use talabat there are issues. The management don’t care if we lose our money, if the drivers are rude or if we get horrible food! Now they don’t deliver items and don’t offer the refund!! Scamming customers for a few rials. Terrible management
An item I ordered was out of stock. I was billed 10.99 for the item and only refunded 10.49. The sauce advertised had a picture of the brand I wanted, the brand delivered was something else rendering the exercise a waste of money. More annoyingly, I raised a complaint and the order was closed without any explanation. Impossible to contact anyone.
The fact that I am a first time user with Talabat and I experienced this, says a lot of them. I can say that they are the worst delivering service in UAE, we ordered a knafeh around 120aed, we got a wrong order from another restaurant, we filed a complain so they refund us and take the wrong order, they called us and asked for pictures, we provided them with pictures of the order and the bill, the next day they asked again for another picture, then in the evening for another picture, and they said they need a final picture from the items inside the wrong order.4 pictures in total in 4 different complain applications!After that the refund window closed and no body have refunded or reached out to us again, we lost our money and didn't get our order, what a SHAME really.Didn't expect them to be that bad.I deleted the app and will never download it again because I have not even 0.01% trust in them. My money is gone.Guys stick to Deliveroo they are the best really and you can trust them.
I ordered dinner at 7:53 PM today 15 May 2025, from a restaurant I regularly order from. The Talabat app initially showed a delivery estimate of 30–40 minutes. That kept getting pushed back until 10:15 PM. I reached out via chat to the assigned driver—no response. I also contacted customer service, who informed me there was a shortage of drivers and the one assigned was 30 minutes away.At 10:15 PM—over two hours later—the order status still said "order placed," then suddenly changed to "being prepared." I was told a new driver 5 minutes away from the restaurant would pick it up. Minutes later, I was told it was finally "on the way."While expressing my frustration over this 3-hour delay, I was told during the call that the driver’s vehicle had broken down, and a third driver was being assigned. By then, it was 11 PM.Three hours of waiting, three different drivers, zero food delivered. Customer service simply listened but offered no real resolution.This was unacceptable. I’ll be uninstalling Talabat and no longer using the service.
I ordered an avocado omelette, but I received a plain omelette with no avocado. The item I received was completely different from what I ordered.I requested a refund or asked for the missing avocado to be sent, but instead, I received a generic message stating that no refund would be issued and the issue was marked as resolved in the Talabat app. Unfortunately, there is no live chat or proper customer support available to address the problem. I even sent an email to their customer care team, but I never received a response.They’ve removed live chat support, and there's no way to speak with someone directly if you encounter an issue with your order. All you get is an automated bot response. Based on this experience, I won’t be using their service again and I do not recommend it to others.
