The rider arrived with fully Coffee-contaminated sandwiches and cakes, with an empty coffee paper cup, another half empty as the coffee drink spilled during the ride as the rider justified the out-of-standard food trying to make me receive it anyway.I tried to help him, but no single item reached in edible condition, and he could not hand it over to me, because the food bag was totally ruined and wet, so I did not accept it, and he left with the ordered items.we complained through emails, and live chat , but talabat asked for a photo of the bad-conditioned food to proceed with the complaint, which we did not have as the rider left with the food immediately giving me no chance to take a photo to report the issue, and when the live chat agent asked the rider about the incident he claimed that I threw it in the dustbin, which was a big bold lie, but however it served the same purpose that I did not receive my order in an edible condition, but that was not enough to Talabat agent to proceed with refunding our money.so we lost the good mood early in the morning, and by evening Talabat live chat agent Farzan tried his best for more than 20 mins to humiliate me making me beg for getting my money back with a solid target that he would not, which I do not do for millions of dirhams, not for a stolen breakfast, so I had to end the emotionally draining chat with out having my issue resolved but keeping my dignity maintained.
I have given up with Talabat! Last driver took more than an hour and a half even when I was told he was close by by the agent. Suddenly I got a message that my food was delivered but never was. Customer service patronizing and answer from a sheet of set responses whilst never actually helping. Drivers are rude and can not find my location even when I send by WhatsApp (never happens when you order direct from the restaurant). Very poor service overall.
Unable to email e issues when they arise ..I paid for KFC delivery which was very late and food arrived cold and saggy chips as kids are going to bed !! Driver called initially said 30 min will arrive however I waited one hours outside !
