I order food from Tabalat very frequently amounting to around 300 QR.I ordered 25 Original Snack box of KFC, I received 5 of them with spicy chicken and two with only one chicken. I contacted Talabat they told me I will get a refund. They call me after 10 mins, they want me to tell them the exact amount of wrong items as I didnt specify at first.I opened 25 snack box and checked them one by one. After telling the guy how many wrong items and putting back again, he told me he needs pictures. I wasted 30 mins between talking to them and talking to the guy, opening the boxes checking them one by one although this is not supposed to happen, and I don’t have time for their requests. I really don’t recommend it. Then I submitted a ticket with what happened. I find today that they closed my request and updated the status to resolved altjough they did nothing. There are many other apps who appreciate loyalty and care about their customers unlike Talabat!
Consistently poor unreliable service. I have used quite a few times due to circumstances as sometimes my fav restaurants are using this app but it is terrible. Their customer service is I professional and all they know what to do is to say ‘sorry’ many times but cannot do anything else. Elmenus and a few other apps are much better. I will never use Talabat again after how rude their customer service manager was.
They have no more control on orders..i have received wrong items and that is not the first time and despite submitting the pic of the wrong items and asking them to return it back and get my refund..they just mark the req as resolved without refunding back my money ..its very frustrating and a waste of time ..useless money hungry organization
If I could provide zero stars I would. I was scammed out of $530. I had never heard of talabat.com and found a charge for $530 on my bank account. I don't even live in the UAE. Talabat is a scam. I contacted them about this and they did nothing.
As most of the time auwuful experience, if you would love to see your breakfast as garbage, coffe as a top on sandwiches, please use it. AS USUAL LATE ,AND AS USUAL SERVICE TERRIBLE!!! and of course no operator to talk with, just a live chat!!!! Just hate it!
If there was something less than 1 star I would have given that; this is 1 star too many for TalabatFor starters, they provide such poor service they fail to reach the same address twice. They quite often deliver to a wrong address and then claim I was not at the address!They deliver more wrong orders than I care to remember and they lack even the basics of customer service. No wonder they abolished their call center.And finally, you raise a claim and they just close it without ever bothering to call you or even ask about the incident. Bunch of incompetent, impolite, unprofessional thieves if you ask me (on account of their fee structure that they just give creative names to thinking the customer doesn't understand what they're up to).If I never have to deal with Talabat again it will be too soon.
I have dealt with a rider who took off with my change, and had a non working number registered, I waited all night for the matter to be resolved, Talabat was not able to trace no call the rider untill late after noon next day, he did not bring change, he gave back the full 500aed, i reached to the point of emailing consumer services and the police for the unlawful act, i waited all day for talabat managers to call me but no one did, when the rider returned the money, he asked for more payment than the actual bill. Completely unprofessional for a company such at talabat. To be honest feels like a scam company now.Tip for consumers:Case: The rider never gave back a cash change of AED390This occurred at 11pm last night, no manager from Talabat has even bothered to call, and ensure the safety of refund. This should be a criminal offense, an unlawful act to run off with a customer's money.
Deliveries will arrive half of the time. Once they get your e-mail address you will be bombarded with their spam mail without any option of unsubscribing. The unsubsribe button will not work. E-mails will be ignored. No concept of privacy or customer care. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all cost.
Orders get cancelled and then after waiting for nearly an hour you get to find out that another rider is leaving from the restaurant after the original rider was in your area according to the app tracking. Almost 2 hours for a simple delivery. Unrealiable if you have hungry kids around.
