I have bought extractor hood Bosch and I thought it was a brand new , arrived graded no box but with all parts - wrapped in whatever they had in warehouse. Customer service noticed that if I missed delivery it will be extra 50£ to redeliver , once I took appliance to my client I notice whistle noise from motor - so it was previously repaired unit as bolts was different. I did email to customer service and they told me to call Bosch . Problem was - badly repaired unit by students . I would not recommend to use this place as it was £20 cheaper than other shops - it’s not worth that
Very misleading advertising.Purchased a Smeg dishwasher through their on-line site – The pictures show the dishwasher with all panels fitted and this is what we thought we purchased. When delivered (We paid £75.00 delivery service to the Highlands) it arrived without the door panel.Contacted them about this and we were told that we had bought a fully integrated dishwasher and it didn’t come with a panel. At no time on the web page did it state that there was no panel included even though the product listed showed a panel in place – This is the first image on their product page. This is very misleading and somewhat disingenuous by this type of advertising – Had we been made aware of no panel, then we would have bought a different model.I suppose we can return this for a refund but the shipping alone would cost us in total of £150.00 and then will have another £50 restocking fee, making it uneconomical to proceed with a return.Just a word of warning about this company is MAKE SURE YOU READ EVERYTHING AND MAKE SURE WHAT IS SHOWN IS WHAT IS SOLD.Very disappointed with the customer service and will NOT be a returning customer.
Awful firm. The cooker arrived on a Thursday. Delivered by one man.The cooker was left in front of my back door which meant it was in the way and needed to be climbed over to get in the house.I called about this and complained asking for a manager to call me back. There was no body available when I called. On monday I called again. There was nobody available (again)I unpacked to cooker to find that the small cosmetic damage that was assured repeatedly on the website was not small.from the website- The original packaging is damaged or missing.- The appliance may have been displayed on the shop floor hence ex-display.- Small blemishes or minor cosmetic marks to the appliance usually to the sides and or rear which won’t necessarily be seen once the item has been installed.- All appliances are fully tested by ourselves before dispatch. When I unpacked the cooker the small marks were actually large dents... I believe caused during delivery by the single delivery driver (It is a big heavy cooker)As such the side panels are pushed in almost an inch off the original placement. So badly that I cannot use the temperate probe at all. The socket is obstructed by the panels. This is obvisouly something that wasn't tested before dispatch... you cannot test an obstructed socket. In addition there was broken glass everywhere, chunks that scratched my floor and broken glass in the base of the cooker and in little cracks where they neglected to clear it out during the testing.I believe this is from a broken oven door that was replaced. There are marks showing damage to the door from the breakage and splinters of glass still in the crack at the bottom where the door opens. The cooker was also missing connecting cabling that comes with a cooker normally. I called again to mention these issues and finally got through to a "manager" who was rude and quite unpleasant. I told them the cooker needed to come back and they completely disregarded me. When I mentioned the delivery guy had left the cooker in front of the door and had likely damaged the cooker doring delivery i was told "He did you a Favour, it should be a road side delivery".I don't want a knackered cooker and I told them I wanted it returned as it wasn't fit for purpose and they ignored me.I will be talking trading standards too.. but long and short of it I don't want to pay £1000 for a cooker that is damaged and not fit for purpose. They should have followed obligations and collected it.An awful experience and company. Disgusting attitude and I will do everything I can to make sure everybody knows just how terrible they are. Go literally anywhere else and get a product that you know will be what you paid for and not some second hand battered unit.
Ordered a microwave from this company, they took payment and provided me with the next earliest delivery date which was about 3 weeks later from purchase, my Kitchen was to be fitted first week of the following month so the microwave would be delivered about a week prior to this in time for fitting so I agreed. The afternoon of the day before delivery they called to tell me that the product that I paid for could not be found in the warehouse…and was also out of stock. It took them that long to figure out the product I paid for ‘went missing’ and no longer exists in their stock which was incredibly annoying so close to my kitchen fitting date, they could not provide me with an alternative of the same price and spec they only offered products a minimum of £300 more expensive! They were also not very apologetic and could not really care less about the inconvenience they caused me and just jumped straight to ‘’ We’ll get that refund processed for you’’. Much better alternative providers that I have had really good experiences with such as Appliance city, Marks Electrical, Amazon and Hughes. Wouldn’t bother wasting your time and money here, I’d rather pay a little bit more elsewhere and actually receive the products for when you need them.
We ordered a fridge freezer with slight cosmetic damage, and when it arrived it had significantly more dents and scratches than described, including a deep gash in the back of several inches which hadn’t been mentioned at all, and had probably happened in transit. Having a one man delivery made it hard for the very helpful driver to manoeuvre such a large heavy item, and there did seem to be several bangs on the route out of the van and into the house. The office team were also very helpful and offered a reduced price but the damage was too extensive and we sent the item back. We tried again with another order of the same model, but had the same problem of significantly more damage than advertised, including on the front which was supposed to be unmarked. We rejected the item and received a full refund the same day.Customer service was good, but whoever is checking and grading the products needs to pay more attention. We won’t use the company again as the risk of not receiving what we are expecting is too high.
Very disappointed about their service, I bought a second hand appliance ( Smeg ) from appliance depot for 200£ plus delivery.Already 3 months after the appliance was not working, ( the play button loose therefore not able to wash ) I called for a repair as i was convinced to be in warranty after 3 months of use and someone was sent and repair.Only after one use the appliance did not work again( button play got loose again ) so I called again and have been told that I was out of warranty and I shouldn't have even the first repair as it was only 60 days warranty.I then got a private repairer which discovered that the box inside was just fixed with card box piece and the screws was long used and broken so my appliance was pre destined to break very quick after the 60 days of warranty. I was trying to call them back and explain but they only reply that I was out of warranty and even got hanged off from the lady on the phone. I understand that it was cheap at the first instance for the brand of the product but selling a product already well damaged and only working for 3 months for £ 200 become a very expenses appliances. After advice I have send them a proposal of arrangements but I just been blanked. No resolution found with them in case of the problem and no customer service. I would not recommend their services as instead of saving money this is costing me much more money and being without dishwasher for the last 4 months as I can not found resolution with them .
Bought Smeg intergrated fridge what was slightly Damaged with a very substantial reduction £170.From first contact they were very helpful enabling me to order over the phone to keeping me inform when delivery was happening and phoning day of delivery. Driver was a lovely guy wouldnt let me do anything chatting with me all the time very pleasant.I would highly recommend this company and will be using them again.
We'd been looking for a Smeg built-in coffee machine for some time (to replace a steam oven that's never even been switched on), and the Appliance Depot were advertising one at a very good price. I was able to buy it over the phone, and delivery was organised for the following week. As we were his 2nd delivery of the day, it was quite early (06.15), but enabled me to get the machine installed in time for our morning coffee. The unit was described as 'used, with a little cosmetic damage' but it looks immaculate. A couple of accessories were missing, but these were dispatched to us the following day without question. We were supported through the whole process by Laura - first rate customer service throughout. Now - anyone want a never-used steam oven?
Inadvertently purchased a regraded SMEG microwave in March 25. I had wanted to purchase a new one. Too late to change once mistake realized. Well packaged but not in box. Delivered on pallet. No problems. The "quality report" left inside the appliance listed faults we couldn't find. What was obvious to the naked eye immediately however was three solder points of four to attach the support bar to four fingers of the grill element had come adrift. Does not say much about quality control. To be repaired under warranty but inconvenient to say the least. Pity.Further to above early August 25 the oven stopped working after it emitted a loud bang. It transpires that the main pcb had in part blown and has to be replaced. Again to be repaired under warranty (overall cost with engineer visits estimated to be in region of £200) but it's the inconvenience of it all. Engineer could not say why the board had shorted and could only guess it may have been faulty. Previous three stars reduced to one. Pity.
