Sketchy - and now reading some of the other comments, I am more dubious about this company than before....
There WERE a couple of issues with the delivery - although the product (tree) was stunning and perfect, the logistics were less than streamlined.
It was the after-sales care that really let this company down and gave me doubts and reservations - no collection as agreed - AND PAID FOR - and no replies / contact / reasons given.
Like others, Dan's mailbox was full, so clearly we were not alone.
Whether Dan is a one man band who got overwhelmed - but this '50 years of Xmas Trees' Instagram promise failed to fully deliver.
That said, on reading the reviews on the companies Insta page we were lucky we got a tree at all.
Awful. Would not recommend - and I only picked this company as they promised they would plant 3 trees for every 1 tree felled - that I am sceptical and disappointed is an understatement.
The tree arrived on the requested date along with a stand, which was excellent. However, after just one day indoors, we were shocked by the poor quality of the tree. It felt like a waste of £72, as most branches seemed to have been trimmed, likely for wreaths sold at around £35. They made over £100 from this tree, yet it has very few branches at the bottom and appears sparse overall. I reached out to customer service, and my husband also expressed his disgust. In 39 years, we've never encountered such a subpar tree. It's disheartening, and I wish I could share photos to illustrate my disappointment.
I agree this is a scam. Very suspicious behavior, as the representative kept changing the reasons for the delivery failure. They even threatened to cancel my order because I reported them to my card provider. It’s deeply upsetting during the holiday season.
This service is a complete scam! I ordered a tree with guaranteed delivery for a specific date, but it never arrived, and I received no communication from the company. I attempted to reach out through phone, text, email, social media, and received no response whatsoever on any platform. I'm still without the tree and without any updates. It seems like others are facing the same issue, as all communication channels are flooded. I strongly recommend staying away from this service!
I paid weeks ago for a tree to be delivered on November 29, but it never arrived. I spent the whole day waiting, expecting it to show up. There was no contact from the company to inform me of a delay, either before or after the scheduled delivery. I tried to call, but there was no answer, and the voicemail was full. I called again today, and they said the office is closed. Very disappointing, especially since I had a good experience last year.
