Review Time
Tree booked for delivery on 10th. No delivery happened. Another day has passed. Email, texts etc go unanswered. It’s the worst possible way to handle customers, who would welcome any kind of communication, even if the product is late. Come on people; this is a very poor way to treat people who have given you their money.
If I could give no stars I would. There is no customer service. I am still awaiting delivery of my two Christmas trees and am now raising a transaction dispute with my bank to get my money back. Neither of the two email addresses responds although I have received read receipts. The only contact was a mobile phone . The voice mail was permanently full and at no time was I able to speak to a person ( Dan). A few texts were answered over a period of 2 weeks and delivery was promised more than once and or a refund offered. However nothing was ever followed through. On one occasion I was told the trees were on the van for delivery that day and Dan would check the order. That was the last I heard. Unbelievably I received an email from one of the email addresses after xmas offering me a discount on Christmas trees for next year. I think the Nordmann has previously traded under another name however I truly regret not reading the reviews before ordering. I am contacting Citizens advice to see if I can alert trading standards. My grandkids did not receive their trees. No one should have to go through this experience.
I received an amazing Christmas tree from the nordmann, it was delivered on time and it is the best tree I have ever had. These guys know what they are doing, cheapest online and somehow amazing premium quality with free delivery. Definitely using again next year! Thanks guys!!!
I've always used pinesandneedles.com but the last two years delivery has been a bit off and they are very expensive. So thought I'd give The Nordmann a try. But despite ordering in November, Dan just doesn't seem very organised. There's no contact number or chat facility if you need to talk to them. There was no message yesterday when the tree was supposed to arrive, so, having read all the poor reviews on here, I went back to pinesandneedles and they sent a brilliant tree today, with no fuss. The tree from The Nordmann arrived hours after the pinesandneedles one was put up. They are more expensive, but at least you can rely on them and the customer serve is excellent. Xmas trees a are seasonal business- it's all geared up for this time of year, so it's no excuse to say 'we've had issues with delivery'- they-have had 12 months to plan it. I'd recommend to the many disappointed people here, ask for a refund and book with pinesandneedles.
Same story as everyone else. Was happy with my tree last year, but this year something has gone seriously wrong. It was supposed to arrive yesterday but no text message to tell me the timeslot. Still waiting today. Impossible to contact - texts and emails are not answered, voicemail is full. Am about to go and buy another one as I have family coming tomorrow. Will see whether I can get a refund.
Ordered a tree to be delivered on 8 December. No tree was delivered and I’ve received no communication from them despite phoning, emailing and texting. I’ve asked for a refund - I’m going to give it another day and if nothing, I’ll report them to action fraud - what a scam - and to do this at Christmas too.
