Review Time
It was an amazing experience seeing ACDC for the first time, one of the greatest Australian bands and in the world. It was easy to purchase the tickets and easy enough to access the tickets on my phone to get into the venue. But unfortunately in trying to submit this review I am entering the correct password for Ticketmaster but it is not accepting it, so your system has failed as I entered the same password before entering the venue and logged in.
Great event- Amyl and the Sniffers and ACDC at the after race concert in Adelaide.However, there was no where near enough food and drink vendors. Also, more security would have been good to monitor bad behaviour, smoking and vaping etc
I had a VIP pass for an event at the venue on Sunday, but I did not receive any email from the service detailing what was expected of me as a VIP guest. To address my concerns, I reached out to the service and accessed a helpbot, but received no answers. I then attempted to call the service, only to find the number I dialed was incorrect. I also tried contacting the venue for help but had similar trouble reaching someone. I arrived at the venue about 40 minutes before the show started, only to be seated and asked by my neighbor why I hadn’t received my VIP lanyard or book upon arrival. This information was apparently in the email I missed. Regardless, the staff at the entrance didn’t inquire about my lanyard; they only checked my electronic ticket. The show itself was fantastic, but I believe communication with VIP attendees could be improved!
Too many tickets sold and not enough facilities. The restrooms were filthy, and there were long lines for everything. It felt cramped, and in case of an emergency, escape would have been difficult. The concert was amazing, but too much time was wasted waiting in lines. The drink options were poor; it was baffling that a certain drink was available while staff wouldn't sell a more suitable alternative. I have an allergy to the other option.
I have attended many outdoor concerts, but this one exceeds all others. No matter where you were, the stage and screens were visible. Getting in and out was easy, and there were plenty of restrooms with minimal wait for food and drinks. Great job!
