Review Time
Like many other reviewers, this company has fooled people into believing they are a UK company. They most definitely are NOT, they are based in China. The items take weeks to arrive in nothing more than a plastic bag, not even in a box to protect them and look like they have been run over by a truck. They claim that many of the items are up to Montessori standards, they are NOT. I worked for over 40 years in the Early Years Education sector and I know what cheap, fake tat looks like!!I have now spent over £50 on several items that are now heading to landfill. I can't risk giving this rubbish to my beloved nieces and nephews. Do yourself a massive favour and shop elsewhere !!
As many others have said, item arrived tatty and damaged. Company offered 30% discount or refund if I return at my cost. I refused both these options as a discount doesn’t help as it’s for a gift, and I shouldn’t have to pay considerable amounts in postage to return the item to china just because it’s damaged! They now seem to be ignoring my emails…
Avoid this company! They advertise as UK-based but everything ships from China and took weeks to arrive. The toys are cheap, poor quality and massively overpriced. I don’t know if they’re properly regulated or safe for babies and children. Misleading, slow and not worth the money. Avoid.
Do not use this company. I was shocked when my order finally arrived. Tatty packaging in Chinese, much smaller than it looked on the website, poor quality and probably dangerous for children. Although the website is at pains to stress otherwise, it is very difficult to get a refund. I was offered 15% of the price I paid, or full refund if I returned the item to China at my own expense - which would probably cost more than the item is worth. The return address on the website is listed as Austria. They are scammers.
poor quality product, arrived damaged, very poor protective packaging, upon contacting customer services, despite their no quibble return policy, i had to write detailed account of what was wrong upload photos, and then wait for a response, they told me to return to china, and to pay for it myself.tiny dreams.uk are only concerned about money, they offer no help, they have no returns policy, and wont admit fault for the items they sell, i would advise others to use paypal,as you stand more chance of getting a refund on inferior cheap trashy goods. and they do not ship from the uk.. it all comes from china.
Update** the company offered a full refund if I posted the goods back to an address in China... which would result in me paying more than my order was worth.. I reluctantly accepted their offer of a 30% discount..the toys are pretty much useless as presents, better than nothing but personally I would still advise- Avoid! Terrible quality ..took ages to arrive and the descriptions were misleading.. no way are these quality toys .. I cannot give them as gifts , just too embarrassing.. wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Never again .
I ordered a gift for my grandchildren from these guys and when it was delivered the box was absolutely destroyed!! No way could I possibly think about giving it to them at Christmas in such a terrible condition. I immediately contacted Tiny Dreams by email and received a reply a couple of days later saying that they were sorry about damage to the item and were happy to give me £4.48 (30%) back as a gesture of goodwill. I replied saying I needed a new toy sending out or a full refund as I wasn't prepared to give a present in such poor condition to the kids, they replied again saying that they'd already issued my £4.48 refund and that was the matter closed!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
