I'm very disappointed in tractor supply. I buy over 400.00 a month on pet food and I like to shop at the one in Grassvalley, because I work in Grassvalley and like to get my pet food bought after work. I went in yesterday and they were out of the items I always buy. I asked when they were getting restocked and they said Thursday so I came back again and bought the only 2 bags of treats and they were still out of the catfood I buy all the time there. The spot was empty. I told the guy they need to order more of this catfood. I'm not going to shop there anymore.

I am done with tractor supply 100percent and all my 9 grown kids are too i spend thousands there every year then my son has a fire list everything he owns and his dog of 9 years and tractor supply thinks because I asked them to donate to a benefit for my son they think hes gonna profit of of tractor supply so they won't donate he lost his house and everything and no insurance so fu I won't shop there ever again

There’s a very good reason why there are so many one star reviews. The customer service is atrocious. I placed an order through their pharmacy. I received an email that the item was backordered and received a phone number to call to cancel the order. I canceled the order, but the order is caught in some internal loop so the charge for the item keeps reappearing on my credit card. I have called four times, waiting for a rep for over an hour each time, and still haven’t gotten this resolved. It’s a simple cancellation and they can’t get it resolved. Ridiculous. I will never order anything from them again.

A Heartwarming Experience at My Local Store

It took me some time to write this review, but I've always appreciated my local store. I visit weekly, and on one occasion, with a major snowstorm approaching, I was looking for a snow scraper and brush, but they were out of stock. An employee stepped in to assist me; he went to his truck and offered me his old one since he had just purchased a new one. His kindness and generosity left a lasting impression on me!

Delivery and fulfillment issues are severely flawed.

The delivery and fulfillment process is seriously lacking. My latest order was for a riding lawn mower that promised same-day delivery, which never occurred. Instead, it was handed off to a third party, leading to a highly inefficient situation where drivers traveled 25–30 miles each to deliver items, even though a store was just 3 miles away. When the mower finally arrived, the seat was damaged, showing clear signs of mishandling. Additionally, after charging the battery, it wouldn’t start at all; it was completely non-functional right from the start. This wasn’t a minor issue; it was a brand-new piece of equipment that simply failed to work. This isn’t an isolated incident either. In 2020, I ordered three go-karts for home delivery. When they arrived by train, I was told for the first time that delivery couldn’t proceed without a residential loading dock. Consequently, I had to: - Rent a trailer
- Drive 45 minutes each way to a train depot three times
- Manually unload and dismantle steel shipping cages that had been loaded into the trailer with a forklift
- Start at 2:00 PM and finish around 1:00 AM Only after all that did customer service inform me that the shipment could have been sent to my local store for unloading, which would have saved me all this trouble. That option was never mentioned beforehand. To fix the mower issue, I bought the same model from another retailer. They made sure it: - Was operational
- Had a charged battery
- Had fuel
- Was demonstrated before I left No hassle, no surprises. That’s how equipment sales should operate. It's important to note that local stores and employees are not at fault here. This is a failure at the corporate level concerning logistics, delivery planning, partner selection, and basic quality control. Outsourcing large equipment delivery to uncoordinated drivers and promoting “same-day delivery” that cannot be fulfilled responsibly is misleading at best. After several major delivery failures over the years, I no longer have confidence in the company's ability to deliver large equipment effectively.

Impressive Same-Day Delivery!

I ordered a 40lb bag of coal, and they promised same-day delivery for $19.99. After placing my order, I saw some reviews that made me doubt it would arrive. However, just four hours later—on a Sunday, no less—a delivery person showed up with my coal. It seemed like he traveled quite a distance for a single item. Truly excellent service!

Frequent Order Cancellations Due to Misleading Stock Information

Orders are constantly being canceled because of false information regarding stock availability. The jeans my partner prefers are never available in his size, either online or in-store. There have been instances where I couldn't even place an order for shipping or pickup. This situation is incredibly frustrating. My previous review was removed just for expressing my frustration. What happened to the right to express opinions? I'm fed up with platforms or businesses that take down reviews they don't agree with or label them as irrelevant. This is unacceptable. I am considering taking my business elsewhere.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

I placed an order online and received a notification on 11/26 about a delay, with a new delivery window of 11/30–12/1. The item never showed up. On 12/2, I called customer service and waited 24 minutes before getting a callback. The representative couldn't find any updates and put me on hold for another 4 minutes to contact the supplier, who also had no information. I was told the rep would investigate and reach out the next day to decide whether to wait or cancel. No follow-up came. On 12/4, I called again to cancel the order, spending 54 minutes on hold. When I finally got through, the rep said I needed to hold for another 3–5 minutes to process my cancellation. I asked for confirmation via email due to the long wait, and after being put on hold, the call disconnected about 30 seconds later. I never received any confirmation. With missed delivery promises, extensive hold times, lack of follow-up, and a dropped call during cancellation, this was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've encountered. Extremely disappointing for a major retailer.
