I ordered a product online. Apparently it was shipped from a 3rd party vender and not only did they get it wrong, they wanted me to pay to return it! So I paid from shipping for the wrong item and then pay to return it….0 star for that vender! They suck! The associate at the local store called customer service for me who told him to call the vender which is how this was all found out. He did a return for me at the store for the item I wanted, that they just got in, and made it ok with me. 5 star for the associate and the local store! Tractor Supply should switch to a better vender!
This app was created in the dark ages. It is the worst app I have ever used. It is extremely slow and difficult to navigate because of that. It changes „My store“ every single time I use it. I get so frustrated using this app, that I have stopped. I really wish they would pay the extra money and use a real website developer.
I checked tracking and was told the item (ordered online on a Tuesday) reached my store's destination 3 days later, on Friday. Although I did not get a pick-up order, I stopped by to check. Not available. Now, 6 days later, Wednesday evening, STILL no pick-up email. I probably will not order again.
More than half the products they "carry" are not in store so you have to order them online to be delivered to the store. ALL orders I have made result in a partial order "being ready for pickup" and I HAVE to pick it up before the rest of the order comes in or they restock it. MOST of the orders I've made result in parts of the order being cancelled; sometimes so much of it gets cancelled that it's not worth getting what's left. Store employees can apparently cancel part of your order; if it says online that it's available to be delivered to the store why are they always cancelling many of these items? I got banned from ordering online because THEY cancelled my order; I spoke with customer service which contacted the department that handles it and they said they weren't budging (I was lifetime banned) even though I didn't cancel the order. A month later they unbanned me. Of course, stupid me orders again because many items are easier to get there; same issues again. They really need to figure out their process and fix the problem areas; they're not a tiny company.
Worst online shopping experience ever.. Forced to go online shop it's online shop because they don't carry all the products in all of the stores. In this case one store carried 1 product and only that store and another store carried a separate product and only that store. I went online to place the order to have the products delivered. Not only were they up charging $30 for same day delivery, They were charging too completely separate delivery fees because the items were coming from 2 separate location. I have wasted over 2 hours trying to set up accounts and get credit cards that they will not accept and cannot speak to an operator to make it online purchase. I give up cook the family out to sushi went by my local shopper supply got everything I needed one stop and more. Tractor supplies got nabia joke. They aren't your local friend they're a corporation that wants as much of your money selling Chinese c*** as they can. The time I wasted with these jokers I could have been out plowing my field instead of trying to save time by buying weeds I'm buying wheat spray online. Find a good local merchant and try to buy American tractor supply Has definitely lost by business for life
Terrible website interaction. Really like the store, but the on-line ordering experience is one of the worst I've ever had. Website service this bad is unacceptable and in today's world quite frankly, a surprise. Please get this abomination of a website fixed, or lose me forever.
I have done walk-in business with tractor supply for several years and have never had a problem. However this good news ends when one goes online. I needed a couple of identical parts for my tractor (Category 1 lift / leveling arms). The tractor supply website showed that the store had 2 of the items I was looking for on-hand. So I place my order for those 2 items and selected in-store pickup. So far, so good... I received an email notifying me of my "Modified Order". I didn't modify my order, so what happened here? Apparently, although I wanted 2 identical parts, and although the website clearly showed that those two parts were in stock, the online inventory was apparently wrong, and only 1 of the two identical parts was available and not the two that I ordered. This seemed pretty presumptuous to me that the retailer would simply modify the order without contacting me first. I never gave them any indication that I would be happy with only 1 of the two parts. But they apparently gave themselves the authority to simply change my order and to just notify me that my order had been modified. Since I live about an hour away and since I would not be happy with just one of the two items that I ordered, I cancelled the entire order.I then went online to re-order the two identical parts from their website with delivery to my home. I placed the order online on a Thursday, and gladly selected the option for overnight delivery at a surcharge of $39.98 on top of the $55.98 to cover the cost of the parts. To me, overnight delivery means that I ought to have the items in my hand the next day, which was Friday. Nope! On Friday, I checked the status of my order, and although I expected to see that it had been shipped and was out for delivery, the order was in some sort of a "Processing" status. So, I went to the Tractor Supply website to formally inquire about my order through their customer service pages. I gave them my order number, the total cost of the order including shipping, and asked why it was in a "Processing" status, and not in an "Out for Delivery" status.I never got so little as a courtesy reply from customer service. But later in the day (remember this is a day later than the order date!), I got an email notifying me that my order had been shipped and the expected delivery date would be the following Monday. What? Why would I be willing to pay for overnight delivery for an order, and be satisfied with it showing up 4 days later? Once again, I contacted customer service via their web page, and 4 days later I have never gotten as little as a courtesy response to ANY of my inquiries to Customer Service.Apparently, overnight service to Tractor Supply means that whatever date in the future, after the order has been placed, it is perfectly OK to ship via overnight delivery on that future date. Once again, this is very presumptuous. Nobody contacted me to ask if delivery 4 days later would be OK to me at an addition shipping cost of about $40.00. Now I understand that many websites will show a cutoff time on their website for overnight delivery, and if one places an order through those websites, and the order is placed after the cutoff time, the customer has at least been advised of the shipping delay. But no such luck or courtesy from Tractor Supply. The bottom line is that the two items that I wanted did indeed arrive, however a shipping charge of about $40.00 seems outrageous for items that were delivered 4 days later than the date ordered, when overnight delivery was paid for. I am now seriously considering contacting my credit card company to reverse the charges for the shipping. Additionally, I am now looking for other review sites to post this very same review to warn others of the shenanigans played by Tractor Supply on online orders.---------Addendum---------I notified Tractor Supply of this review via a private message sent on their Facebook page. I provided a link to them for this review. Their reply was for me to contact Tractor Supply Customer support. I already tried that route a few times without so little as a courtesy reply from Customer Support. And that lack of customer support is exactly why I wrote the above review!
