The don’t honor their contract.

I bought their insurance through Norwegian Cruise Line. I got sick the second day on the cruise. I spent a lot of time in the sick bay. The final bill was just shy of $7,500. I submitted the claim right after I got home. I sent the documentation by registered mail. It was received by Aon on May 12. They logged it in on May 22. It has now been 5 months and every time I contact them I get the same story, they are experiencing high claim volume. Every time they say just give us another 30 days. Any one know of a class action lawsuit I can join?

Never Trust this Insurance!

They constatly stall the communication by asking questions like a 2 year old, so they can get another 10 days to the claim. The Worst Customer Service i have ever experienced! Never Again, and i will make sure none of my Business Partners ever make this mistake!

NEVER PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE FROM AON AFFINITY

As another reviewer noted, had there been a choice for less than one star, that would have been my rating. After resending the same documents several times, I finally received a form letter declining coverage. My wife and I had booked flights in July 2022 to Copenhagen to attend a conference in Sweden in Sept 2022. My wife had been diagnosed with Early On-set Alzheimer's the previous year, but since that time we had traveled by air four (4) times, the most recent being in August 2022 to Seattle, WA. However, after returning from that trip and prior to our trip to Copenhagen, it was clear my wife's anxiety from the Alzheimer's was such that we would not be able to make the trip to Copenhagen. I canceled our flights and submitted a claim as instructed. The claim was denied because my wife had had treatment for the Alzheimer's prior to having booked the flights. I guess this means she will be discriminated against for the remaining portion of her life. Yes, she had been medicated for the symptoms of Alzheimer's. And, the effectiveness of those medications is what in part allowed her to travel those four previous times. What a waste of money to have chosen to purchase the insurance. I would never recommend that anyone purchase travel insurance through AON Affinity. So impersonal. Clearly looking for a manner by which to deny claims.DON'T PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE FROM AON AFFINITY.

I was forced to cancel a B2B2B because of medical reasons. I filed 3 separate claims on October 20th and October 28th and I have already received payment for 2 segments with an indication that the 3rd segment was closed in a similar fashion. My ONLY complaint is that the reference number on the checks gives me no indication as to which claim submitted is being paid by each check. Once I figured out how to scan my supporting documents in an acceptable fashion to present on-line, the process was a piece of cake. Knock on wood, I have no problem with the company or the service I received. I'll be even happier when the 3rd set of checks arrives.

AON requires not following CDC Guidelines

Had to cancel trip in May 2022 as I tested positive for COVID 2 days before my flight was to leave. I submitted the claim to Aon the day I received the positive test and included the COVID + result received from the lab. My claim was finally reviewed a week ago, 5 months after the claim was submitted. I am being told in order to receive a refund, I need to provide a signed statement from the physician that treated me for COVID. Apparently when you are dealing with Aon Affinity, you are NOT to follow CDC guidelines of quarantining yourself at home, instead you are to bring your infected self to a doctor's office to spread the disease. All so the box can be checked in their process.

Insurance Scam!

We took the protection policy with this company while booking a cruise with Carnival Cruise Line. The cruise was to start 10/15 and my wife was hospitalized on 10/1. She was released on 10/7 with Doctors orders of no traveling. I notified Carnival on 10/3 & cancelled the cruise. We filed all the paperwork with AON on 10/8. I spoke with them yesterday since I had not heard anything and was told they may need another 30 days to review the claim! They are the worst and if I could give a 0 rating I would. I asked Carnival for help and they couldn't be bothered. Not my problem if they have a lot of claims! Hire more people. I will never take another policy with them and Carnival should drop them!

If I could give them a 0 star I would

If I could give them a 0 star I would! They have strung us along for 5 months. When you submit your information the keep asking for more. They just want you to give up so they don't have to pay out!

Bought insurance on April 28th for a cruise at the end of October. A month later found out I had recurring prostate cancer. Had surgery in july , found out the cancer had gotten in into some lymph nodes and was still not recovered enough to go on the cruise. Canceled the cruise on September 9th as i had a follow up treatment scheduled for 2 days before the cruise. I've been fighting for my refund with this company for a month now. I'll update this review if and when the company decides to do what's right.

Aon trip insurance is terrible

Aon trip insurance is terrible. Need to find a reputable company to cover your trip. They do not pay when you get sick and miss most of your trip.
