Outrageous motorcycle service and…

Outrageous motorcycle service and customer treatment at Triumph London Vauxhall.Brought in my Street Triple 765 RS for a 12000 mile service, they have been doing the work for more than a week and damaged the bike - it is now running 5k+ RPM in idle and fluctuating. The worst thing is that they keep saying “they did not make it worse” - they clearly did, in fact I never noticed any issues with engine and now it is just unsafe to ride.

I only have experience of Youles Manchester so this is about them.

I only have experience of Youles Manchester so this is about them. The staff are very friendly. The premises is great. The bikes look fantastic. The service dept. is dire. On their own admission they spent 6 hours trying to find a fault on my bike and failed. I took it to someone else who diagnosed it in 20 minutes. Youles had done the annual service on it since I bought it but in fixing it things were found that, shall we say, left a lot to be desired and raised eyebrows. Let's just say I have lost all confidence in them and will not be using them again.

Time to switch brands?

I feel pretty sad that I am writing this review. I am a genuine Fanboy when it comes to Triumph. I love that a British brand is out there, kicking ass and taking names against some much more prominent brands. However, after a recent experience when my local dealer told me my head gasket was most likely blown on a 2018 Speed Triple with only 2100 miles, only to find out that it was a water pump, it leads me to question the entire credibility of the brand. From the first time I spoke to the Dealer, I was pretty clear that I knew the bike was out of warranty and that I was asking a big favour for out-of-warranty support. But to find out that I could have laid out a massive chunk of cash when the problem was much simpler is galling. It just feels like another example of a once great brand that has stopped to the base level of profit and revenue of customer care. Why am I writing this review of Triumph you might ask? They appoint the dealers who in turn represent the Triumph brand and manage the customer experience.Time to switch brands...

Triumph motorcycle Insurance

Do not use Triumph motorcycle insurance. Absolute disgrace of being charged £51.80 to amend my policy Under the so called mid term amendment even though the policy was due to start the next day. Wanted to cancel under the 14 day cancellation period but was told it would cost £65 to cancel. How can this Insurance company justify there charges. Will never ever use this company again. Stay well clear. Should have gone back to Bemoto

Worst customer service from Lings Triumph Dunmow, Essex

Worst customer service from Triumph, Lings - Dunmow, Essex. Booked in a running light issue 3 weeks ago. Used their check in service to confirm appointment and an MOT, that didn’t work so I called them in advance advising of my pending appointment explaining again my light issue. On arrival day they had no idea what my bike was in for, no knowledge of the MOT I booked. They had my bike for 4 hours, before I had to call them to see how they were getting on only to find out they hadn’t fixed it and asked me if I wanted it done?? Clueless manager and staff who just said they were busy when I asked why it took 4 hours for me to find out if I wanted it fixed or not? 3 weeks wait for this appt, and a day off work, I stupidly thought when you booked a bike in explaining what needing fixing that’s what they would do but apparently not, they just call you sir and ask you if you want their cheap coffee. I would not recommend these incompetent so called Triumph specialists and will not be returning or recommending them to my biking fraternity. Poor manager, poor excuse, poor service. They didn’t even give me the right keys back for my bike when I collected it. Lings Dunmow are as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. Absolute clueless Morons.

Triumph design mean well but don't do…

Triumph design mean well but don't do well.Reference to keyless ignition. What a faff! Go to ride bike, turn on fob power to enable bike to start, use key to unlock steering, put fob in pocket. Go to ride bike to filling station. Stop bike, take out fob to unlock filler cap, disarm fob to leave bike to pay for fuel after locking steering.Go back to bike, arm fob and same time unlock steering.Put fob back in pocket again. See a pattern here? Like why have keyless? What a faff.

Never again

Bought a brand new street triple RS in June and took it home on July 21st 2021 from Triumph Como.Since August 10 the bike started randomly displaying an immobiliser fault, leaving me on foot. Everyone was on vacation and there was no emergency number.I bring the bike to the dealer on Aug 23, and on Aug 24 they claim to have fixed the issue. On Aug 29 the bike has the same issue again. It's been a week and the dealer now still doesn't know when they'll receive the part the bike needs to be fixed. How am I supposed to go to work?

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Bought a brand new bike. Problem with front disc brake. Would not rectify. Quality of new bikes not what I expected from Triumph and warranty/customer service by Triumph dealer very disappointing.
