I ordered two rear Continental Premium Contact 6 tyres for my BMW X5. Their contractor, Halfords Mobile, fitted Continental Sport Contact 7 tyres instead which are not the same. I've emailed Tyre Shopper twice and phoned them - even though I was promised a call back it didn't happen. l will now place the whole transaction into dispute with my credit card provider. In future, I won't be using a middleman for my tyres.UPDATE - I called your customer service number, eventually talking to six different people (Halfords, National, Halford Mobile Fleet, Tyre Shopper etc and the issue is still not resolved. It was not Halfords fault as they fitted the alternative tyres which was ordered by Tyre Shopper. I have now paid National to replace these tyres on Wednesday and Tyre Shopper can arrange collection and a refund.
UPDATE - order ref 7821893 refunded, order ref 7827655 still awaiting refund . Amazing how you are very quick to respond to a negative review, yet I have still had no response to the two remails I sent !. Placed an order which was cancelled after several days saying they can't supply the tyres. Placed another order for a different brand, waited another 5 days and then sent me an email to say they can't supply those either ! Shocking service. I've had one refund, but still waiting for the last order to be refunded. Why sell & take payment for tyres you clearly cannot supply and waste weeks of my time. They do not respond to emails, live chat is unavailable and the 0800 number puts you through to someone who can't deal with refunds ! Totally awful service.
Bought a set of winter tyres (Michelin Pilot Alpin 5) on 18th of Nov 2023, order confirmed, paid in full and fitting was arranged for this weekend. Called them last Saturday to double check, to make sure there are no surprises and they have ordered the tyres. They promised to check with Michelin on Monday and get back to me if there are any hiccups. No emails, no calls, no communications from them until late morning yesterday (Friday before fitting) saying “the tyres you have ordered are currently unavailable” and “your order has been cancelled” leaving me hanging.I can see the tyres are available and in stock on autodoc.co.uk, 123tyres.co.uk, tyres.net, tyres-outlet.co.uk, tyres-guru.co.uk. And Camskill. So it seems everyone has it in stock except tyre-shopper.co.uk which is an online shop where fitting is done by National Tyres & Autocare and who are both ultimately owned by Halfords.
TYRE SHOPPER ARE BAD NEWS.Absolutely appalling to deal with and will not be repeating the experience. My advice would be to avoid at all costs. I ordered two tyres online, paid, and booked the fitting at the local National Tyres. Arrived there to be told to wait. They then advised the tyres weren’t there and to return later in the day. They were no help. I then called the Tyre Shopper to cancel helpline and held for over 35 minutes but never got through. I emailed Tyre Shopper at the email provided with no response other than an automated one saying they would be in touch. I went elsewhere and bought two new tyres as I needed them fitted immediately. I eventually got a call from them three days later and a refund was issued. The guy at National Tyres said they made no money from these Tyre Shopper sales and they weren’t the slightest bit bothered if I cancelled. Don’t even bother going on their web site. I can recommend another two firms that won’t let you down.
Please don’t ever use this company I ordered 4 auto green tyres and they were out of stock so they sent replacement tyres and fitted them but the replacement tyres were for an suv and not a Vw golf so the fitter rang his office to ask if he should fit them as it was a car not an suv they told him he should so then I drive to work and back it feels like I’m driving on a rumble strip the whole time and then two tyres both lost air pressure I’ve contacted tyre shopper and they keep fobbing me off to a complaint email instead of just putting the right tyres on even after putting my life at risk they don’t want to help. My order number was 7789872.I thought u said you would get back to me directly not just ignore this aswell just proving what an unreliable untrustworthy company you are.This is now a 3rd edit to this review I’m almost 2 weeks in every time I phone them they put me on hold for 45 mins then answer then put me back on hold and then put the phone down on me.think it’s time to get the lawyers involved.
I cheated from this app ,I bought two tyre auto green they delivered different company one tyre also,I call customer service they disconnected my phone .The fitting centre also not responding if anything asking they tell "I don't know". very bad behaviour.Then after last one guy from customer care they told to come on Monday (today) and book my appointment.11 45 I went there they fix second tyre and I need to pay extra 96 £ ,before I bought two tyre 138£ now I pay 96 £.i lost two days and extra 96 £.Thank u tyre shopper for listing my money and time
I am really disappointed 3 booked times and they never shows up they didn't iven give me a callback!! The office all time they said to me they gonna come 100% and is like i have to deal with scammers i hope that i gonna be refunded. Really don't iven give chance to dealing with them.
I ordered 3 tyres from tyre shopper on the 1st sept. I requested they be sent to my local garage on the 6th sept at 10.30. Order was confirmed online. And emails sent to confirm. On the 6th I turned up at my local garage to get them fitted. 30 mins after leaving my car I got a phone call to tell me tyre shopper hadn’t delivered my tyres. And I was asked to go back to the garage to pick my car up. The garage told me they would try track my tyres down. No offer from the garage of any alternative. I had no email or phone call from Tyre shopper to make me aware the order couldn’t be met. Which I find really poor service. A quick phone call to make me aware surely not to much to ask. When I got home I phoned them to ask themwhere my tyres were. And they said they didn’t know. So I requested a refund on the 6th sept. I was told the refund would be back in my account in 3-5 days. Today on the 12th the refund was still not in my bank. So again I had to contact them to chase. I have now been refunded. But the service was shocking. There was no apology and I would not use them again. I ve also got 3 tyres 200 pounds cheaper. So I believe they are over priced too.
