Review Time
I have been using tyre shopper for years now and during that time purchased a variety of tyres for various vehicles of mine and my wife. Now other family members and friends use them too. Not once have I ever had an issue with tyre or fitting. I can't recommend them enough. They are always the best value, no matter how much I search Tyre Shopper always comes up trumps.
Like many other negative reviews on tyre shopper I too booked a slot for new tyres and was twice let down having taken time off work to be told the tyres hadn’t arrived on my arrival for the selected fitting date/time. On both occasions there had been no communication from tyre shopper nor any acknowledgement or apology received from them despite emailing them. Avoid - for the sake of a tenner difference in most cases use blackcircles instead.Response to tyreshoppers message: you have not reached out and have still not responded to my email. Another reason for people not to use you.
Ordered 4x tyres 09/03/24 to be fitted the following Saturday. I recieved a text on Wednesday stating that they couldnt get the tyres until Saturday, but would be able to fit on Monday. Thought to myself, fair enough...Monday will do. Recieve a text on Friday saying they can no longer get the tyres....but they are on their website at £41 per tyre more? If you like wasting your time, they buy tyres with Tyre Shopper.
Terrible service. We initially booked to have X4 tyres of the same brand fitted by a mobile fitter. We were told the fitter would attend on the Monday (order placed on the previous wednesday). One day later we were told that the rear tyres were out of stock but could be replaced with different brand tyres. At this point we just needed new tyres so we agreed. On the day the tyres were due to be fitted (Monday), we received an email stating "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the mobile fitter is not able to attend today as requested online". This was an inconvenience but we thought to give the company a chance so we accepted the next date of attendance of the following Friday. On Friday we were then greeted to the same email, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the mobile fitter is not able to attend today as requested online". At this point we had had enough, so we decided to call and speak to someone. After waiting 30mins on hold, we spoke to a representative of tyre shopper, who couldn't be less interested in the issues caused by tyre shopper. They suggested another date of attendance for the fitter but we decided to get a full refund and go elsewhere. I would not recommend this company if you need tyres in a short timeframe.
What a joke took my money then emailed 3 days later to say tyres out of stock and changed appointment to the afternoon rang and spoke to someone who was as helpful as a chocolate fire guard agreed with her to take it to my nearest halfords with dangerous tyres but hey she didn't care. Halfords have now had my car for over 2 hours changing 4 tyres maybe they are on their lunch now?
I had 2 x nankang tyres fitted at their halford service centre walsall. Tyres were cheap for the price i though i am getting a bargain but service centre is run by cow boys technicians scrap my both allows and for branded tyres which i thought getting a bargain only last 9k miles which is strange i nvr had tyres in past like this which only lasted this much of miles even partone tyres would last more so avoid dont fall for the discount.My order no was 7983974. Tyre shopper halford service centre technician even broke my phone holder when i asked he even lied he didn't broke it when challenged that u have moved in and out the car into the tyre shop and holder was fine before i had my phone there when i came tohalfords then they admitted it could be accidentally told them its a 6 pounds holder from ebay if broke admit it not a big deal i will order a new but dont lie. The only reason i never left a bad review on google on that time i am not a person who leaves negative reviews for any place or businesses and dont wana cause a problem for the staff as things happen at the end they workers and making a living from that place but on top tyres didn't lasted long made me to write a review
Guy turned up today to fit two new tyres, after an hour said the tyre he'd been given had been 'squished' so he could only fit one tyre, suggested i'd need to take the tyre into a depot (20 miles away!) The guy was a nice chap and it wasn't his fault but not ideal at all. Now to add insult to injury!!! They have refunded me but now charged me for mobile fitting when it was free before, what a total bunch of jokers. In essence they send a defective tyre that can't be fitted then are looking to charge me an extra £25 because they can only fit one tyre which is entirely their fault.I would steer clear they don't know what they are doingUPDATE - Chantelle has responded claiming she has reached out to me (she hasn't!) then asking for my email address and contact details - which shows they haven't reached out to me?Given that you can't reply to responses on Trustpilot can I ask that Chantelle gives me a contact to send my details to or otherwise this is just a sham of a response?
Purchased 4 tyres for home fitting 3 weeks before fitting date told 2 days before no tyres available and no alternative even though still being sold on they're site 3 calls in excess of hour and a half on HOLD! And told refund only option and 3 to 5 days for said refund shocking company ill never use them again and if the tyres havnt been taken off they're site by next week going to trading standards. order number 7907653
First and last time I will ever try and use this company. Ordered 4 new tyres on 15th Jan for mobile fitting. Recieve an en email on 22nd Jan PM to say there is a supply issue with the tyres ordered and they will swap my tyres to another brand but XL tyres for fitting on 24rd AM. I was provided with a phone number to call should I not want the alternative tyre. Attempted to call this number, only to be put through to halfords/National tyres who said it wasn't them who dealt with it as it was a mobile fitting order. I was provided with another phone number by them to call instead, which I did. Over 1 1/2 hrs on hold I gave up. A Google search later and I find another number, so call that. Eventually after another half an hour on hold, I get through. The lady was lovely, however said someone would call be back with possible options for tyres instead. 2 hours later, no call back. So I ring up again and get passed from pillar to post. Finally speaks to a gentleman who couldn't do much as 'someone is in the system already' so he can't see my order or what he can replace them with. I have had to now cancel the order 2 days before its due an MOT and try and figure something else out instead. All in good faith that he can 'get in the system' after I put the phone down to cancel the order and get my refund within 5 working days!!!!Absolutely awful service, baring in mind I allowed plentiful time between ordering and fitting. I would give 0 stars but it doesn't let you.
