Order: 7917071Ordered tyres on Friday 19 January for fitting on Sunday, then on Saturday I got an text and email saying they didn’t have my tyres in stock but could fit a different brand on Monday, or I could cancel. So I cancelled but still got a call from the fitter on Monday, by which time I’d had the tyres fitted locally for cheaper!I’ve still had no refund from tyre shopper, even though I sent them another email and still got no reply. Tyres-shopper is just a front owned by Halfords (we all know what great service they’re known for in their stores!🤣🤣🤣) and they use National Tyres as the fitters, which is also owned by Halfords, which is also a renown brand for their trustworthy and excellent customer service! Haha not!If I’d known Halfords was behind this shoddy outfit I would never have placed an order in the first place!In the future I will be supporting my local tyre shop! I find it absolutely shocking that you claimed to have contacted me regarding my complaint when in fact you have made no attempt at all to contact me! 🐂As you claim you always pride yourself on high level of service, then stop playing games and just refund what I have paid!!! You have my order number, surely that should be enough for you to know I’m due a refund? I will await your email confirmation that it’s been paid, without any further delays!
Customer services never get back to emails. See a price from a comparison site for tyres liked the price clicked the link to tyre shopper, price jumps up £25 per tyre more. Trying to ask customer services to match no response. Chat bot is usless. Is anybody even there???
15/01/24 - Just rang and reached out and they have no idea who Chantelle is and how to put me in touch with her and there is no way for me to reply to her in any other way! my order number is 7897603 please contact me on the number that is attached to that order to discuss.11/01/2024 - Booked a mobile fitting through their website this week on Monday Evening for this Friday. Got an email and text today confirming I had been refunded, no explanation. Wondering if I should rebook I rang their phone number after 20mins waiting for the call to be picked up I get connected, asked why my fitting had been cancelled to be informed that the mobile fitter that previously covered my area was no longer working, I asked why didn’t they have the courtesy to call me to discuss it with me (as they had my number) and if they had rung, they could have amended the booking to allow me to get my tyres done in the very local branch of National Tyres, they had no answer.Not reliable. Very poor customer service. Very disappointed.
Shocking customer service - 4 mobile appointments failed/cancelled - Nobody answers the phones after waiting on hold over 20mins on multiple occasions - promised call backs but nothing and I still haven’t got my tyres fitted - would I recommend? NO!!!
My experience with Tyre Shopper has been nothing short of a nightmare. I handed over £250, got zero communication, none of the mobile fitting appointments were honored, and to top it off, they're ignoring my refund request. Absolutely disgusted with their service. Save yourself the headache and steer clear. I'm so frustrated that I'll be reaching out to my bank for assistance. Terrible service all around.
I paid 400 GBP for tires from Tyre-Shopper and received neither the goods nor any communication. This alarming lack of fulfillment and responsiveness raises concerns of potential fraud. I urge Tyre-Shopper to address this immediately by delivering the tires or issuing a refund. Contacted through all possible channels (including mentioned), no replyUPDATE 02/03/2024 - Finally received my refund. Halford that replied to this review mentioned they have not any relation with tyreshopper. I am glad that they still got my money back. Still one star, as basically they made me a hostage and held my money for a while. I wasted a lot of time and got a lot of stress.
Had 2 tyres fitted at Halfords through tyre shopper I will never use Halfords ever again for anything while I sat there a gentleman came in with a problem with his lights, he was told they didn’t do electrical work and he left , then someone from the garage came in to reception giving the lad behind the counter a bit of a telling off for letting him leave saying that is easy money don’t let people leave without us looking at his car !!! As you can tell he didn’t see me in the reception area around the corner
Prices really good, but chose a fitting service and they all charge extra "premium" charge (so the fitting service doesn't reflect the real price) the irony is for a couple of pounds more halfords will fit at your home. Like the prices , don't like the hidden prices!!
Tyre fitter turned up but did not bother to try ringing the bell or knocking at the door. Had he done so, he would have been able to do his job and I would have had new tyres. When I am working I cannot always have my mobile to hand. When I called up to ask why the fitter hadn't turned up, the rep told me that the tyres had been fitted although this was not his fault as I can only assume that's what he was seeing on his screen. He later told me the fitter had turned up but did not bother to try the bell or knock. No email or text either. I paid a lot of money and will not be messed around like that. Thank you to the rep on the phone for quickly cancelling and refunding my order.
Ordered set of all season tyres on Sunday and as local fit was not available I’ve chosen mobile firing and booked for Wednesday 20th of December. On Monday I’ve received email with order cancellation explaining that the tyres I’ve chosen are out of stock ! Immediately I went online and for my surprise I was able to order these tyres again . Same story mobile fitting but this time booked for Friday 22nd. I have followed my order with call to customer service and being promised that there was a glitch and my tyred will be definitely fired in Friday. On Wednesday 20th I’ve received email with cancellation !!! Again out of stock . How on earth they can do this to people. I’ve ordered these to go for Christmas to see family in Germany . If I have been told on Monday that they are out of stock I would continue to search . Because I’ve been promised them I have stopped the process . Now on Wednesday I have nearly no chance to source them ! Thank you tyre shopper ! You are terrible company. Order numbers 7856864 /7860595
