WASTE OF TIME

Ordered Tyres and booked tyres to be fitted Friday before we went away on Saturday.Thursday afternoon they cancelled. Via Text messageRe booked in for Monday morning 8 -10. Neighbour came over to wait in as we were away.Waited all day at 3.30 rang Tyre Shopper asking where was the fitter, they had no idea, took a long time and came back to say they will try to find out where fitter is and call back. CANCELLED ORDER Took car to local garage and had tyres fitted it only cost £7.80 more, but I get free puncture repair.SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE PLUS IF FAULT WITH TYRE I KNOW WHERE TO GO TO COMPLAIN.On reflection, it is really crazy to buy internet tyres and save such a very small amount.NiamhYou have my phone number why don't you call me as my point is the amount of time I have wasted with this matter.So yesterday I clicked the link and found it to be a dead end, so called Tyre Shopper, nobody knew anything but gave me another number, called that and eventually managed to speak to someone who did not know anything about me and could not help. However they promised to get it sorted and get someone to call me back.I thanked her for her dedication but betted that nobody would. I am winning the bet.I have just wasted another 1 hr 22mins with Tyre Shopper, As I said, pay £7.80 extra, get puncture repair included for free and no hassle.

Don’t trust them and wait for the fitter, because they will not turn up

Order No: 8153751.I have had very good experience in the past with them. Not sure whether they are under new ownership because the latest order & service was a shamble. Wasted two days of my time where they did not turn up when it was critical for me get my tyres changed. They have lost my trust completely. On the 4th of June my tyres were inside the fitters van and I was told that he broke down on the way, ok it happens, so I rearranged it for 8th, waited from 8 am to 12 and nothing. When I contacted them there excuse was that the tyres have not been received yet. So what happened to my tyres that was in the fitters van on the 4th?? Why did nobody bothered to contact me sooner so that I could have got my tyres changed locally before they shut for the weekend.

Utterly pitiful

Utterly pitiful. Bought two tyres for fitting at home because the vehicle couldn't be moved with its existing tyres. The website confirmed that a mobile fitter was available at the time and date I wanted. A couple of hours later, they notified me that they don't have the fitter available, but only after taking the money. Apparently a refund is now going to take a week.

Takes advantage of single females

I had my rear tyres replaced at National Tyre Service garage booking via Tyre Shopper, when I was leaving I asked one of the mechanics whether my fronts were ok and how long I had left on them. He said he had completed the work on my rears and depending on how much driving I did I had a couple of weeks left on my fronts. He then went on to tell me the law and if I got caught I would get £2,000 fine etc. I didn’t have the money to get them done but I was due to do a lot of driving over the following few weeks so I booked them to be changed a few days later but this time used the mobile service. When the front tyres were being replaced, I went to ask the mechanic whether he wanted a drink but he was nearly finished. I ask how bad they were and he said he didn’t understand why I was having them changed as both tyres were on 4. I said that I was told that they needed to be replaced, he then showed me the tyres he removed and the measurements on them- I don’t know how to do this myself and have no one to ask. I am a single mother and the cost of the 2 tyres was a big enough expense for me, without paying for another 2 I didn’t need. I have tried contacting several times since but have not received any response. UPDATE: I can confirm despite the below, I have still not had any contact- I received a message, email and 1 missed call but despite trying several times to reply everything bounced back (not sure why you'd contact someone with numbers and emails that you can't reply to?????) and when I did finally get through on the phone to return the call, the guy had absolutely no idea what I was referring to and had to "look into it"

Terrible "service"

Terrible "service". Ordered specific tyres, paid for them, booked a time only to get an imperious email saying tyres weren't available - alternative offered to be fitted two days later than requested. No apology. I was informed that if happy I should do nothing or call "customer services" - what a joke - took 25 mins to answer - still no apology. Cancelled forthwith. Never again.

Disappointing service

Order four tyres through tyre shopper with mobile fitting. Originally booked in for a Friday morning. No one turned up so phoned them only to find the job wasn't assigned to anyone so no one would be fitting them. Rescheduled for the following Wednesday only to receive a call from the fitter to say two of the tyres hadn't been ordered so again they wouldn't be fitted. Having had to take time out of work for the rescheduled appointment and now again so they can fit the tyres for a further rescheduled appointment. Very poor experience.

I decided to use Tyre Shopper for 4…

I decided to use Tyre Shopper for 4 tyres on my car. The price was exceptionally good and their communication was faultless. I wanted a home fitting and they arranged it through National Tyres & Autocare. The service was superb and I will happily use both parties again.

Disappointed with Tyre Shopper's Lack of Service and Communication

I recently attempted to purchase tyres from Tyre Shopper, only to find out that they were unable to fulfill my order. Despite their website allowing me to book, the tyres were unavailable, leaving me in a frustrating situation. When I inquired about this discrepancy, I was met with a vague response about a supposed technical issue, which only added to my disappointment.Not only was I not provided with any alternatives, but I also received no response to my email complaint addressing the issue. This lack of communication and effort to rectify the situation reflects poorly on the company's customer service.Furthermore, the fact that no alternatives were offered and I was simply issued a refund demonstrates a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. Even though I suggested an alternative tyre option at a slightly higher price, Tyre Shopper failed to accommodate or even acknowledge my request.Overall, this experience has left me feeling let down and inconvenienced. While I had heard positive things about Tyre Shopper before, I cannot overlook the poor service and lack of communication that I encountered. My review of Tyre Shopper will reflect this disappointing experience.

Dreadful service

Dreadful service. Changed my appointment to a day later with no phone call. Took over 45 minutes to answer call. Not even an apology from them and quite rude on the phone. Avoid, use Halfords instead and they are cheaper.
