Ordered tyres and promised a date and time. Never arrived and getting a text they ran out of time. No information of how to get the money back etc. Proper cowboys. If they are under Halfords and this is the best they can manage then it must be shite!Order number is A966B021592.Update: spoken to a horrible depot manager who says its customers fault for them not attending sos he cancelled the order. Beggars belief. Will be escalating this cowboys to the regulator.
After many years of great service from Tyre Shopper I decided to give their "mobile fitting service" a try.I booked tyres to be fitted on a Saturday morning, I received a text message on that morning to say that a mobile technician would be with me between 08.00 and 12.00 he never turned upI rang to be told by a lady that he was on he's way and he still didn't turn up.I then received a message saying my tyre fitting was now booked for the next morning (Sunday) and they still didn't turn up.I contacted them again only to be told that the tyres were out of stock so they re-booked fitting for the next Friday evening (tonight) and guess what?Yes they have cancelled the appointment once again.I have telephoned them this evening to cancel this order and request a refund.I've lost 2 days of my life and 2 hours pay just to save £20 with Tyre Shopper It's a shame really as this service would of suited my elderly mother and friends although I will not be recommending this service to anyone!!!
The only way I got any action from Tyre Shopper is by leaving bad reviews here, so here we go again. I had 2 new tyres fitted mobile some months ago, but since they were fitted, one has lost pressure and I have to pump it up about once a week. After numerous emails and several bad reviews here, after several months I was contacted today. At first they couldn't find any record of the job. After we sorted that, the person I spoke said they would arrange for someone to take a look. They have now sent me a text saying they have booked my car into National Tyres in Watford tomorrow. Watford isn't very close and is a complete pain to get to - that's why I chose the mobile service in the first place. My advice, if you value decent service - steer clear of Tyre Shopper.
Bought my new tyres in October 2024.Halfords mobile fitting service came to fit my tyres. The tyre fitter chipped and scratches my alloy rims. I complained to Halfords about the damage and i sent photos as well. 10 months later still nothing from Halfords. I won't be using tyre shopper again. I'll be using Black circle for my tyre needs. Absolutely terrible service from tyre shopper and HALFRAUDS
I used Tyre Shopper two tyres replaced under job details, Web Order Reference: S8355371 and fitting Centre Ref: A532B023721The job was done at National Tyres in Perth.I arrived at 9.50am at the centre for my 10am booking. On arrival I was told that they were very busy and understaffed and hopefully that I could leave the car with them. I said to help them out that I could go into town for a couple of hours but if they could call to say when it was ready. The staff member was very off hand and grumpy and they agreed to call me back once the job was finished. At 2pm I still hadn't heard anything so I walked back to the garage to find the car ready. At 2.30pm I collected it which was nearly 4 and 3/4 hours after dropping it off. They said that they had been too busy to call me!!! Basically I had walked around town for hours when the car was ready....Also I had made a booking for a free brake check that they never carried out as they were too busy!After getting the car home I found the wheels covered in tyre sealant soap and when I cleaned this off both of the wheels had been damaged around the rims. I assume that the excess tyre soap was them trying to hide the evidence. The cars wheels were all in immaculate condition before arriving at the garage and in fact had only run approx 2000 miles since they were all fully restored so you can understand that I am now very less than impressed.I wrote an email to complain on the 24th October and then again on the 30th October and 5th November but nobody has bothered to reply!
I had a puncture recently, and luckily, the car was at home, so I booked a mobile tyre fitter through Tyre-Shopper. I’ve used their service before to replace all my tyres and was happy with the experience back then.However, this time I had a specific request: the puncture was on the front driver’s side, and I had recently replaced a tyre on the rear driver’s side. For better balancing, I needed the new tyre moved to the rear passenger side.After booking, I called several times to confirm if this could be done, but I kept being transferred back and forth between Tyre-Shopper and the tyre-fitting company (National Tyres Borehamwood, who never answered their phone). I even emailed Tyre-Shopper and included the request in the booking form.When the mobile fitter arrived, they rudely (rather than politely) refused to move the tyre, simply stating that it wasn’t a service they offer for mobile fitting. This was very frustrating, as I could’ve made other arrangements had I known earlier.Now, I’m left with two newer tyres on one side of the car and two older ones on the other. I expected better communication and service. Very disappointed with this experience.
Ordered 4x tyres for the car and even without any promo code were the cheapest I could find on the net. Then imagine my elation when they were also offering a mobile fitter service for free as standard!! Not sure how they make any money at all!!Crew who arrived were really decent, even used a torque wrench as opposed to just impact driving the nuts on! Only downside was picking my 50th birthday to get it done!! (Was my only free day) But they also do weekends at no extra cost. Will definitely be using again.
Great prices! And terrible service! They send vouchers which are impossible to redeem, ignore customer complaints, out right lie to you on the phone, make empty promises that you’ll receive calls back (which you never do) and they have no interest is solving any issues.One member of staff told me his manager had left for the day (at 3:20pm) immediately after telling me he was currently speaking to her about the issue at hand. When I questioned this he then went to speak to her again to confirm with her that she had in fact already left! Honestly you couldn’t imagine their incompetence, let alone make it up!I was told I’d get a call back the next day regarding my complaint and this was repeatedly emphasised and promised (it’s now 4 days later and still no call) When calling Halfords (who own tyre shopper) to complain they seemed very interested… at first… and then after 2 days of communication just said “we can’t do anything”Not screaming of competence or and interest in customer service for that matter.HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!!! Absolute joke of a company who have no loyalty to customers and no concern for any issues that customers raise.
Hi Frazer - posted review earlier this week and you promised to get back to me- what a surprise have heard nothing . So I have done some more checking.I placed an order on 13th Feb 2024 your ref S7974823.I selected 2x Bridgestone Turanza run flat tyres for my 5 series BMW . You supplied 2x Driveguard tyres .Although you listed this tyre as a Runflat it isn’t . It doesn’t meet the ISo standards and is not recognized by BMW as a replacement tyre for OE supplied Bridgestone runflats . So it should not be listed as a BMW approved tyre . Presumably Halfords just fit what you supply without question . On the 22nd May I ordered another Bridgestone Turanza runflat - S151277 to replace one of the front tyres - pothole damaged . This time you did supply the BMW approved runflat and Halfords fitted without question . When the vehicle was inspected last week by local BMW dealer they reported the problem of having mixed tyres on same axle - problem not accepted by Halfords.So instead of doing nothing what I want you to do is to supply and fit a Bridgestone Runflat tyre in lieu of the Driveguard tyre . And I want to have it fitted at any other agent than the Halfords Ure Street Dundee Branch . So let me know when this has been arranged ..
