Review Time
I was onto ups,via the phone 6/3/25,at 10.04am.I was trying to find my package,the customer care agent informed me my package hasn't arrived in the country yet,So when it arrives to the depot they will update me on delivery date,Here comes the kicker,as im still on the phone, my doorbell rings & yes you guessed it,it's my delivery.Worst delivery company The 1🌟, is for them at least answering the phone.When I'm ordering anything online & ups is the delivery company, I'll go to another site
"03/04/20253:00 P.M. On the WayPrevious local labor dispute has caused delays. Recovery efforts are under way to deliver your pkg as soon as possible.Finglas, Ireland".There is no labour dispute in Ireland! Package went from Germany to Ireland in a day, now sitting in Finglas without indication as to when it will make the short hop from Dublin to Cork.Awful experience with UPS.Update March 5th; I emailed custsvcieenn AT ups DOT com; Response is not satisfactory: "Based on our records, the package is affected by the labor dispute and that delay is beyond UPS control...Please continue to monitor this package on UPS and use the 'Get Updates' feature for you to receive real-time updates about this shipment" »» So basically I am to wait for however long it takes - Madness!
I would give them 0 star if it were available. For over days my parcel was left in their depot and they made no delivery attempt. Their tracking record doesn't even give an estimated delivery date. Adding insult to injury they returned the parcel to the sender. Online retailers must avoid UPS like a plague. Cowboys of the courier companies.
Incompetency is an understatement. What a pack of plonkers! I have never experienced such inefficiency. Twice they confirmed to me that their driver had made the delivery on different dates, I contradicted this suggestion and checked the gate cameras and they then admitted that no delivery had been made and that they would deliver today 04/03 without fail. SURPRISE,SURPRISE,NO SHOW!This assurance was given to me by a lady named Pau. As we ended the call yesterday, I asked her to refer me to a Manager or Supervisor but of course we were accidentally cut off.I phoned again today, another twenty five minutes wasted and Pau answered the phone. She remembered the discussion from yesterday, I advised her that nobody called or phoned me. I practically got a 'so what' response but she checked the system and told me that she would re send the delivery request but didn't have my name and address, this, despite giving her all the details previously for the promised delivery.Wait for it, I asked her to escalate my complaint to a Manager, nobody available right now, but she was absolutely certain that I would receive a call within 60 minutes. Over two hours later I'm still here without any contact.
Further to earlier review I have been forced to pay UPS's charges. As they continue to ignore emails, despite my advising their delivery driver, they also continue to email about delivery times and not turn up. They have beaten me !!. Looking at their other reviews definitely a company to avoid if you have the choice.
Contacted them to pick up a parcel and they were to collect on Wednesday got a call in the morning for my eircode waited in all day and nobody came to collect the parcel. Rang them next morning gave all my details again and lady said keep my phone free that somebody would ring back within an hour .no-one contacted me and it is Sunday and still waiting. Terrible service would never use them again. One star is too much for them
