Second issues I’ve had with this company this month. Driver again made no attempt to deliver, I was at home. Package dumped at a local collection point. Went to collect and the package is missing/stolen. Words don’t express how useless this company is.
UPS make no attempt to deliver to your home - they drop it off at a local collection point. This has happened more than once. Telephone support from them is indifferent and escalation callbacks are as follows: They ring your phone and hang-up as soon as possible - even if you answer within one ring.
All they do is deliver to your general region. I had packages marked as delivered to me,when it was delivered to someone in my estate. Which am I supposed to knock into everyone’s house to see if they got it like some freak. I would’ve been happy for them to leave the package on my porch. If I can avoid UPS I will for sure, 100%
Absolutely useless, pay for express delivery and they just send you an email with a delivery date and just change and change and change the date all the time. Then get emails saying out for delivery. No delivery comes and then more emails saying delayed but it's not their fault. They blame everyone else, they rarely update the tracking. They're so bad I think businesses that use them will lose my custom.
My UPS Parcel was delivered to the wrong address and left beside a wheelie bin on the street... a day later than next day service contracted. The value of the item in the parcel was over 500 Euros and insured. By the grace of God the recipient saw the delivery of the item and the parcel's unique shape led him to check on the parcel.
Worst courier company I've ever used. I used to use their PO boxes until they repeatedly bounced packages that had customs charges against them. No warning at all. Multiple times my business partners had packages with 75 dollar postage returned with no reason given. Calling customer service was useless until I managed to get through to a member of staff in the Dublin depot who explained that things weren't going well. They closed a few months later. Now, they'll apply charges of 27 euro with no explanation on packages with values of less that 25 dollars. They don't take payment for it at the time of postage or on delivery. I had to create an account just to pay it and receive the family gift. I hope they close completely. No other delivery service is this expensive or poorly run.
Worst delivery service in Ireland! So unreliable and provide useless communication as to when package will arrive. I kept receiving emails to say my package would arrive by end of day. Have had 3 days of this and no package arrived and all they can tell me is that there is a delay.Avoid at all costs if you can!
