I was given no notice of a delivery date never mind a window. I discovered on evening of Tuesday 23rd using their tracking that they claimed a delivery attempt had been made that day when in fact I was at home at the times claimed and received no knock/ring on my door. There was no note/message left in my letter box to inform me of the 'failed delivery'. The tracking also said no (COD) payment had been received. I had no notice from UPS of a COD payment requirement. On discovering all of this on Tuesday I immediately rang their helpline and eventually was contacted by an agent who informed me that a COD of €30.50 was due and that neither the driver or the Galway depot would accept credit card payment of this but rather expected cash. Since their tracking indicated another 'delivery attempt' was to be made on Wednesday 24th and fearing another 'failure' could result in it being returned to the source, China, I asked to pick it up at the depot. This required a hour long round trip from my home which I did on Wednesday and having paid the COD of €30.50 I was informed that a breakdown of the charge would be sent on to me. I have still not received this 6 days later.
My package is on their depot for two weeks and they refuse to deliver. I rang customer service more than 5 times and sent a few emails trying to resolve it, but so far nothing. This company shows complete disrespect by the customer. They even told me the package was dropped off at an access point where I tried to pick up it to later find out it was never there. Their customer service also keeps lying to me saying they made my case a priority and that the depot would contact me in an hour. It has been two days ever since and no contact at all.
My parcel arrived a week ago , I paid customs on it and still haven't received it , but everyday they say they tried to deliver it but unless they are wearing some sort of cloking device my cameras never see them.. won't be using them ever again
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is a joke. The customer service agents provide incorrect information, and the driver or depot claims they've tried to contact the customer, but you never receive a single call. This has been one of the worst experiences I've had receiving a parcel. If you want an experience of complete confusion about the whereabouts of your package, choose UPS. "Useless Parcel Service" would be a more fitting name.
I should not have been surprised by anything from UPS, which was, after all, the company that had to use a postcard sent by An Post to find out how to reach our cottage (no other company has had this problem in over a decade). I have been tracking their delivery from Benetton with interest. After six days and a route via two 'UPS facilities' in France (is there no air freight from Milan?) it has still not even reached Ireland. This would not have compared well with the post in the early nineteenth century. Fingers crossed that they deliver at all.
This company just scammed me for 74 euro for imaginary package they never delivered. I told them I haven't ordered anything from them, so they should refund the fee because it's a mistake. Then they send me a debt collector. Absolute scammers. Avoid in all cost.
So this is how it works. AS soon as the delivery that flew through the system in Europe, gets to Finglas. In my case the system says missing address details. Here is the hoot. second message says. We are trying to get the security access our driver needs for this delivery. (Message from Finglas). Question? You already said you cant make the delivery as you have the incorrect address. How in Gods name do you know anything about access, if you don't know where the address is? Note someone is paying a person to be a manager in this unit and this is how the operation is run. Oh, then I get on to customer service and the representative says what's your address. I repeat my address and she says. 'Ah that's the problem, incorrect address. Ill update with the correct address. The box arrives with the original shipment sticker and no other. Meaning someone is lying about incorrect address. So a delivery took from July the 6th to July 15th to travel from Germany, spending most of its time in Finglas. UPS your manager in Finglas is sitting with his feet up reading the paper, most definitely not managing!
An absolute joke of a company. Con art at its best. My company is receiving number of deliveries each day but only UPS figured the way to take the money and not to even make an attempt of delivery. They found eircode my company is using somehow got deactivated but still valid so UPS decided to return parcels to sender.
