Why and how is this company still operating? Even after 8 calls to change delivery times/address, I still haven't got my parcel. A so-called manager promised to sort things out and call me back. Never did. Could it be a language issue, because none of the agents I spoke to were native English speakers. Incompetence at such a level should be made a crime.
My delivery was three days late with no explanation or apology. Another driver also ignored a scheduled collection - just didn’t bother to turn up, no message from UPS at all. Customer service are useless; chat support transfers you to queues with no agents, email doesn’t bother to respond, and after spending an hour on hold to speak to someone on the phone I was promised they’d get on to the distribution centre to see what the story is. They obviously didn’t, because two and a half hours later no one has come and the delivery hasn’t been rescheduled. UPS obviously don’t give a damn about individual customers as long as they have corporate clients, and it really shows.
I arranged for UPS to collect a teddy bear that belonged to my two year old in Paris and paid 33euro for next day delivery to Dublin, because he struggled to sleep without the teddy. They collected the order but nothing changed on my tracking. I emailed and they told me to submit a claim. They then told me that the package was lost. I had to submit the claim, which they then said that they could only send me in French because the package had been lost in France, despite me not speaking French, and submitting everything else and paying for the label in English. I am still trying to solve the dispute. I am so annoyed over it all and heartbroken that the teddy is gone. Would not recommend at all!
We were going to collect furniture in Naas Waiting on a gate to open. UPS driver came in behind us started beeping the horn. When the gate opened we were going in to collect but we were not fast enough for UPS driver he started beeping the horn again. Never met such a rude man. UPS should start training their drivers to have some manners. When he got out of the Van he was so rude to everyone. Obviously doesn’t like his job. Took a photo of the Van have his reg number.
UPS is the worst courier in Ireland by a long shot. (1) First, their tracking service is awful. They don't give you any time slots for delivery - you're just supposed to hang around at home all day. You also keep getting re-routed to different interfaces to enter different information that should all be in one place; (2) Second, unlike every other courier or delivery company, they don't phone you when they fail to reach you by buzzing your apartment. I was told that their drivers don't even carry work mobile phones, which beggars belief in the 21st century. If your buzzer is out of order, or you happen to be at the shop around the corner or even in the bathroom when they call to deliver, they'll leave immediately without making any effort at all to find you. A complete waste of everyone's time. (3) Third, all their customer service representatives appear to be in Belgium. While very helpful, it is almost impossible to reach anyone in Ireland, except by contacting the regional office in Belgium and then asking them to ask someone in Ireland to call you back.
Why is it every time I see UPS down as courier I have no confidence that the parcel will be delivered to me... current tracking on parcel says it's in Wicklow...I live in Dublin, and it's been rescheduled 3 times for delivery...they are a dreadful service and regardless of how many bad reviews are posted the service doesn't get any better...I'm sure on Monday I'll have to go to Finglas to be fobbed off and told parcel will be delivered on Monday...I can't buy from anyone using UPS again
