So I reviewed these idiots last month complaining about the exorbitant fees they charge: $400 for a basic tune and a new tire.
This guy Chad reaches out and offers me a partial refund of $69.99.
Of course I accepted and thanked him.
A week goes by, nothing.
Then I get an email asking if it's okay to accept a store credit for $100.
I say no. I want the cash. That's what you offered. I pointed out that the refund was his idea and that to renege and offer me a store credit was shady.
I still haven't received the money.

Very disappointed. Did not fix a simple issue, but charged us $250. When we tried to voice our concerns, they were extremely defensive, to the point of gas lighting us. Would never recommend them. Which is too bad, as the concept of a mobile bike service is a good one.
Well I thought I would give these guys a try.... but in trying to reach them after 3-5 calls and two texts. NO calls were ever answered no texts were replied too so I thought I'd look up their reviews and Im not happy to post this but truly concur with the other - reviews here. Expecting premium convenient service turns out they lack the basic courtesy to return a text let alone answer there phone. Never mind not having any voicemail set up as well. Yup these clowns checked all the boxes for their own circus. Sure glad I did not use them, just imagine if you had a problem. Deal with your local bike shop. Bricks and mortar. Wish Trust pilot had -* star ratings. One star is too complimentary based on our FIRST and Last experience.
3rd party vendor through Peloton2nd time I have re-arranged my work schedule to be home for service appt. Confirmed with corporate office multiple times during the day for each visit - each time reassuring me I was on the schedule and work would be completed. Second time I even asked for the repair persons cell phone - no calls or texts back. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I think it's an omen to move on from Peloton.
Do not do business with Velofix. Purchased a Yamaha ebike through them only to find out that my brake caliper was defective. One of their technician came and tried to fix the problem and the issue persisted. I couldn't trust velofix so went ahead and stopped by at the local shop and only to find out that mounting hole on the fork is stripped. After that I went to an authorized dealer thinking they would fix the problem, BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Dealership dismissed it as if nothing's wrong with it. Trusted their words, but after making a trip out to REI to get my buddy's bicycle fixed, brake started making noise again and upon inspecting the brake caliper, bolts were starting to come OFF!!! I called velofix numerous times and yamaha customer relations and they are of no help. Yamaha and Velofix ONLY cares about money and not the safety. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VELOFIX! I made an attempt to resolve this problem through warranty but I still have not fixed this problem. It's already been 11 months!!
Not Good! Ordered this service with my new Canyon and I built the bike out of the box just to see how it would look. When I handed it over to the tech I explained all the bolts I didn't torque down and what I didn't grease, or lube and he didn't grease or torque anything. The handlebar came lose on the first ride. He also didn't even remotely try to get the fit per the retul fit for my roadie I provided him; he just said the geometry wasn't the same couldn't do it. He didn't even try to get the saddle height correct. When I went to ride it I had to redo all the shifting, he didn't even get the shifting right! I am not fully sure what he even did to the bike because it appeared to be nothing. Also over torqued the saddle, the clamps that came with the bike were 7x9 ovals when most saddles are round 7x7 so instead of pointing this out when I asked him to change out the saddle, he just over torqued it, and it still moved while I was riding. I contacted them to complain, and they have not addressed any of it or contacted me back. I would never let them touch my bikes again. I worked part time at bike shops most of my life and know bad when I see it.
I had an appointment at 12:30pm today - no technician showed up nor was there any communication regarding the delay. I called the Velofix number at 1:06pm and spoke with a CSR who told me she would reach out to ‘Chris’ and get back to me. When no one contacted me after 1 hour, I again called Velofix at 2:08pm and was only able to get a recording to send an email.I am surprised at the very poor customer service/communication by Velofix. I have used the service twice in the past and am extremely disappointed by what has transpired today.
I cannot contact Velofix in Edmonton. Tried internet, calling cellphone and texting. Can’t make appointments on the internet as they are booked into oblivion. No response so I am assuming they have closed up business. Poor reviews don’t seem to phase this company. Very unfortunate because it’s a great concept but seems to be a poorly managed franchise. Strongly recommend supporting your local bike shop!
My experience was great. I went online and made an appointment and received a follow up email with the details. The gentlemen called before arrival and was very pleasant. Terrance was his name and he was professional and knowledgeable about my particular bike. I'm grateful for the experience and service.
