After VFS asked me to message privately, I did so immediately, and I received a response saying that someone would get back to me. However, it has now been a full business week with absolutely no update, no follow-up, and no progress.This situation is becoming extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I have been waiting for months, and every time I reach out, I’m told the same thing — “the issue will be resolved in 3–4 business days.” But it has now been two months, and nothing has changed.I started my application early specifically to avoid these kinds of delays, yet I am now the one suffering because of VFS’s lack of action. My visa expiry date is approaching, I cannot book an appointment, and my December holiday plans have already been ruined because I cannot travel.I genuinely do not understand why it is taking so long to resolve a simple payment allocation issue. I have visited the VFS centre twice, submitted proof of payment in person, emailed multiple times, and still, nothing is being done.I urgently need someone to take responsibility for this matter and provide a real update — not another generic response. Please advise who is actually handling my case, because I cannot continue waiting indefinitely with no communication.
When the VFS get the application wrong, and your application gets denied, you end up losing your holiday and all costs associated with that. Do not apply for the South African tourist VISA. VFS response, is for you to do the application again, instead of fixing what they did wrong.
