Review Time
On 20/11/2025, during my France visa application at the VFS Global [city/branch] office, I encountered serious misconduct and unjustified fee requests from the staff. The events described below are in clear violation of service quality standards and the principles of neutrality and professionalism.Approximately two weeks prior, I visited the same VFS office, where I was told that one document contained an error and could be corrected for a fee. I stated that I preferred to correct the document myself. At that point, the staff reviewed my entire file and explicitly informed me that there were no other errors or missing documents, and that bringing back the corrected document would be fully sufficient.When I returned on 20 November 2025 with the corrected document, I was told that my photographs were now “incorrect”, and additionally, that the section in the application form stating “If your previous surname was different, please indicate” was left blank and therefore required a form correction fee of 8 EUR. Since my previous surname is not different, there was no justified reason to fill in that field.During this process, Mr. Ercüment Öztürk used highly inappropriate and intimidating language toward me, including statements such as:“I may refuse to accept your application. I have the authority, and I will not take it.”“If I want, I accept it; if I don’t, I won’t. I am the only authorized person for this process.”Additionally, I was insulted by being called a “word trickster”, and the staff attempted to call security in an effort to remove me from the premises. This behavior is entirely unacceptable.These actions constitute improper conduct, unjustified fee requests, and an abuse of the role entrusted to VFS Global. They violate the standards of honesty, neutrality, transparency, and professional service that VFS Global is expected to uphold.I respectfully request a full investigation into this incident, appropriate disciplinary action regarding the personnel involved, and the implementation of measures to ensure such behavior does not recur.
My experience with this company was outstanding. The service was professional and seamless, and everything was completed quickly and accurately. I was impressed by their customer care and their commitment to follow-up even after the service was finished. The team was cooperative and answered all inquiries clearly and attentively.I highly recommend working with them, and I wish them continued success.
Hate to give even 1 rating. Not sure how and why or where they got these good ratings in such services. I submitted an OCI Miscellaneous Services application through VFS and included a written letter authorizing them to correct my online application if any changes were required. Despite providing all documents and permission for corrections, the application was returned after more than 10 days saying Applicant occupant employment for mInor has not updated , and without reviewing the documents I submitted.This has caused unnecessary delays, repetition of work, and additional courier costs.I am seeking a proper review of my application and an explanation for why it was returned without considering the documents or the correction authorization.Update: 11/23/2025 as commented here, responded to their Facebook. Awaiting for their response.
