The customer service is appalling once you’ve purchased a vehicle from VW Heritage Bristol.I have attempted for a number of weeks to get my new vehicle looked at as it has developed a fault. I’ve tried multiple times to get a response from anyone including contacting the Head of Business, General Sales Manager and Aftersales Manager and have yet to have my car booked in to be looked at. They certainly aren’t interested in any of their customers once you’ve purchased a vehicle.I certainly would avoid at all costs and go elsewhere or to a different manufacturer.
Took the van in for a service/mot asked them to check a couple of issues I have noticed…one being concerning/serious where the front suspension/wishbones /unknown…wonders at high speed and any bump in the road feels it like hit pot hole. Also an oil leak………Front of house came out and told me the van passed the MOT. I then asked what they thought about the pre highlighted issues, (I notified them of 2 weeks ago) and he looked mystified and said it came back ok after they took it for a spin around the block. I then noticed the mechanic pull up outside, so I went and spoke to him and he said he would need to test drive it to diagnose it.????? As for the oil leak….. it wasn’t even mentioned. Any way even tho the van has warranty, I am now booked in to a trustworthy mechanic to actually look into the issues and I will then call up headquarters when I have the findings. Expect more lies……Good riddance
Without a shadow the worste car dealship i have used in over 30 years. The staff are rude and arrogant and customer service is poor to say the least.£27,000 on a brand new car that seems like it spent the first 12 months in their workshop ,if of course you can get it booked in.Overcharged on on first invoive which they blatantly denied until we memtioned the Financial Ombudsman when all of a sudden they did get up of their arses and do something about itTwo new steering wheels, engine oil light, faulty sendors, faulty anti brake issues, mould growth to nname just a few from a BRAND NEW CAR!Vast majority of the tine they just fobbed you off,Must be the way you wash your car when parking sensors failed.Must be the way you drive when the cars automatic braking failed?Must be weather conditions when sensors didnt work properly? On collection the car was not cleaned at all and the respose was "Well its only a lease car We asked ffor the oil level to be checked when the warning light came on yet again,,to be told'So you cant check oil on a dipstick then?"Just some of the beauties put towards us.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE unless you are addicted to bring treated like a child and like being completely ignored by arrogant and rude staff in particular the young members of staff who need to learn some respect.I can honestly say i cannot think of anything good about this branch whatsoever or the car come to think about it.Unfortunately although i would like to i cannot rate the dealership as zero stars or the car involvedWalk with your wallet people,we did and we pick our new Audi up next weekGood luck.
Was looking to book a two year service at 16K miles on our Golf so we rang Heritage Weston-super-Mare and was quoted £437 which seemed very expensive. We shopped around and had it done at Inchcape VW Swindon for £255. They were very efficient and we saved almost £200.
Customer service is greatly lacking at this dealership, if you are wanting to be valued and expect good communication I would suggest you go elsewhere. Ordered a brand new car March 23, waited 2 months to test drive the car. Even after complaining to sales manager he admitted to forgetting to call me back and arrange! Roll on to test drive day and a discussion about finances, a ‘new deal’ was agreed “remember that figure”. Day before collection and paperwork is sent across to sign, wrong agreement! Their response… that shouldn’t have been done, don’t know why that was done etc etc. 48 hrs and chasing the dealership no authentic apology and no movement towards rectifying the situation just a circular conversation explaining how it couldn’t happen (the new deal). On refund of my £500 deposit which they had received in March 23 I got a ‘sorry about that’ …. Seriously this is how you value customers and mange a business?! So down the road to Hyundai I went - pick up a brand new car Wednesday !
Trying to order parts and they don’t get back you by email as try to order over £500 with them I put all basket and need one other bit at same time so don’t have to pay for p&pStill no response they used to be really good when you could call them over the phone and five star now the customer service is really bad one star if that I think try justcamper if no response by tomorrow as wasted day already
my car is under warranty and has developed two minor faults, but i wanted them fixed. I've emailed Heritage and got it booked in to be fixed. Once its booked in, Heritage call me to ask what the faults are? I've already told you by email, i say. Can you just tell us again?24hours later they call to tell me that the faults i have described don't exist or they cant replicate them. So they haven't done anything. If I want anything else i'll have to rebook it again. I had asked them to wash the car while they had it, they are located near to a rail yard and in an area of a lot of seaguls. They hadn't even done that.Just a pointless waste of time talking to them. I'm sure VW would be embarrassed if they knew how they speak to customers.
Atrocious customer service.Car booked in for a service at 10.30 to avoid the rush hour traffic on completion.Representative who checked the car confirmed the work would take a couple of hours. What she failed to say was that the work would not begin immediately and had still not commenced by 2.30 when I rang for a progress report. Was then advised it was an “all day service” and would take up to three hours. When my service contract expires I’ll not touch this company with a barge pole.Have given one star because it’s not possible to give none.Had to ring twice for the update as was put on hold while the receptionist contacted the appropriate department and was then cut off.
I came to this dealer because I wanted to go somewhere I could trust. So far it has been a pretty bad experience and I have no trust in them.It took nearly 2 weeks and a couple of false starts for them to bring the car from 30 miles away, resulting in me having to mess my workplace around changing time off. On my appointment the chap I was meeting was busy and so another guy took me for the test drive, then someone else came with documents, then the original guy took the payment, it was all really confusing (and took the best part of 4 hours) and then when the finance documents arrived in the post they had started me on an agreement I did not want (I didn't want pcp). It then took them 6 days to tell me the interest rate, this meant that the withdrawal period nearly expired (they had also said there was no withdrawal period - it is 14 days for anyone who needs to know and once you instigate the withdrawal you have 30 days to pay. Note that they apply daily interest in this period too). Overall I am really disappointed, they seemed nice enough but now the car is sold they don't give a stuff and I am starting to think they intentionally messed me around with responding to questions about the finance agreement so that I would become trapped.
