Review Time
I downloaded the app and paid the $23 for the first month and before the trial ended, I cancelled. I just realised I have now been charged $47.94 for each month: February, March and April. I have just cancelled the autopay on paypal but never expected to have to do so, given I cancelled with Walking Yoga before the introductory one month amount had expired. I will be seeking 3 months reimbursement - trust destroyed.
I joined via an ad on Instagram, £20.49 for 3 months, which was supposed to be a large discount. An email asking me to verify my email arrived, which I did. The next email they sent me looked as if it was a link to find my programme, but on closer reading every button for start now had a warning that I would be charged more money if I pressed them. So I have no way to use the programme that I have paid for. Alerted that this was obviously a scam, I remembered that the initial purchase warned I would be charged full price at the end of the 3 months unless I cancelled by contacting the company. I have done this and had an email confirming they have cancelled. On doing a google search of them I found these reviews on Trustpilot which showed many others have has similar experiences. So to cover myself I have cancelled any future payments to them on my PayPal account. I have emailed them about not being able to access my programme (on Instagram there was no mention of an app, only that I would be sent my personalised plan) and have had a response which looks like AI. I’ll see if anything more useful comes from them, but I feel that is likely. PayPal says the payment was made to a company called Medical Score.
They’re lightning fast when it comes to charging your card, but completely unwilling to help when it comes to refunds. I didn’t realise I’d signed up for a paid plan after the introductory offer – and I’m usually very careful about these things. Somehow, this one slipped through. There were no clear notifications or warnings that I was entering into a new paid contract. No reminder, no confirmation email – nothing. Just a quiet charge to your account, and by the time you realise, it’s too late. I guess they count on people missing it so they can pocket the money.Despite not using the plan at all, their support team refuses to issue even a partial refund. All they’ve said is that I can continue to access the service until the end of the month, when my subscription will be cancelled. That’s it. No empathy, no flexibility, just a flat refusal. Absolutely shocking customer service. This isn’t just bad business – it’s a scam, plain and simple. Avoid at all costs.
Signed up for the 1 month trial and every time I logged on it was asking me for a further £69.99 despite already paying. Contacted support and they kept telling me to try again and check my login which in etc. I tried everything, even resetting the password and nothing. I asked for a refund and now support are ignoring me. Avoid!
Hidden T&Cs - another service where you appear to sign for 1 month to service, that auto renews and doesn’t allow user to cancel via the app. I wonder what percentage of new users pay for an additional month unwittingly. Pathetic.Update - walk yoga will not refund me my money .
The advert says free and I thought maybe you would get a 3 day trial or something like that, but as soon as you put your email address in up pops a box to say for the next 15mins they will offer your a 51% discount on a 7 day /month plan - not as advertised
