Wouldn’t even give this a 1 star… purchased a pink king size bed and mattress from Wowcher through cloud9, got dumped on my door in the rain didn’t even bother knocking… went out to bring it in and there was no mattress, delivery man that works for the company tried to tell me Wowcher had sent the wrong size mattress and refused to show me that it was on the van. There was no proper bed slats delivered a pile of 5foot planks of rough splintered 4x2 was left to use as slats! No delivery note or anything. I have been trying to contact Wowcher and this company for a week and I’m not really getting a response other than keep telling me every day to wait another 3 days and refusing to give me at least half of my money back to buy a new mattress and some proper bed slats. Super angry! And disgusted that Wowcher are also ignoring me. Will be taking this a lot furtherThey reply saying get in contact to help but they don’t help and keep repeating themselves with wait another 3 days 😡😡😡😡
Order Number:49754279I bought a mystery break and was advised I would be contacted by their travel partners - this took 2 weeks for them to get in touch.Andy from Travelolo (Travel Magic Ltd) eventually called and advised I was given Dublin as my destination but if I wanted to change I could have Paris. I asked for 24 hours to decide on this as had to speak to my partner. ' Yes thats ok' replied Andy.He then emailled details and I was asked to check all spelling of names and DOBs were correct, he advised 'just reply to my E mail and say 'All ok' which I did.I then checked the Paris 'deal' - not a deal at all. It was going to cost an extra £240 - when I actually worked out what this would have cost to book myself it would have been £321 in total - TRAVELOLO were asking £450- hardly a deaI!Also not that Paris hotel was 65 miles from airport!I then said I would just take the original Dublin deal. To which I was advised that was now unavailable as I had I agreed to the Paris deal by replying 'All ok' in my e mail. This was not what 'Andy' told me - he asked for confirmation all spellings and DOBs were ok.Then followed a barrage of emails asking for the Paris balance to be paid.I contacted WOWCHER but received no reply.I feel totally let down - spending £198 on two vouchers which were unused.WOWCHER need to look closely at these travel partners as its a complete SCAM - its a process of getting money out of you - there is no deal to be had!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
I’ve had two terrible experiences with Wowcher, and I won’t be giving them another penny.First, I purchased clothing that was completely falsely advertised. Then, on my second (and final) attempt, I bought a getaway deal and never received the booking link. Their customer service was atrocious, unhelpful, and kept passing me around without resolving anything. The merchants they use for these experiences feel like scammers, and Wowcher takes no real responsibility.Save yourself the stress — this company is nothing but disappointment. I’ll never be using them again.Wowcher - commenting under my post telling me to contact concierge doesn’t help me. I’ve contacted them many times. They refused to refund me and when I originally asked for the experience to be changed afterwards, OMG hotels ignored my emails. I don’t care if my voucher was redeemed or not. I want my money back for the lack of service. This has gone on for 5 months !!! Absolutely shocking
Wowcher have not failed to disappoint. My strong advice is do not book a holiday through Wowcher. We booked a holiday through Wowcher for three couples for the Vienna Christmas Markets and obviously had to redeem three vouchers in order to book. There lies the first catch. In order to book the holiday, you have to redeem the vouchers. On committing to redeeming the vouchers, only then did we find out that Wowcher’s advertised Hotels and holiday are not available. We were instantly offered an inferior hotel for over £400 extra cost to us as the holiday advertised clearly didn’t exist. The other option was for the three couples to share two rooms when we’d paid for three rooms. Brilliant! We had paid over £1200 to Wowcher (our credit card statement shows as much) for nothing like the holiday, which was advertised. Wowcher’s small print states that you’re only liable for a refund if you don’t redeem the vouchers. What’s the point of the vouchers? You have to redeem them to find out that the advertised holiday doesn’t exist. We then demanded a refund and cancellation of contract from Wowcher due to a misleading holiday advert. Wowcher referred us to the third party holiday company for a resolution. They in turn referred us back to Wowcher, who (you guessed it) referred us back to the third party holiday company again. We are still waiting for this to be resolved. Is this a scam between Wowcher and their trusted third party holiday company? All I know is we’re £1200 down with no holiday.UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: Thank you for getting back to me on Trustpilot. Further details are has follows: The vouchers were purchased from you on 31st August 2025 for a three night break in Vienna for three couples and your booking reference is 50191584. We sent you £1,331.48. Your Third party partner is Prime Holidays. As I mentioned we have received two pre-typed, generic replies from you so far, telling us to contact Prime Holidays for a resolution, who have also told us numerous times to contact Wowcher for a resolution. I assumed that if I contacted your customer service department for a third time, away from Trustpilot, I would receive a third generic email reply to contact Prime Holidays. I’m caught in a loop of no help at all from either company. I have all of the emails, replies and screenshots of every conversation up to this point to assist you in my refund. I will obviously be happy to send you these. **FURTHER UPDATE** On 10th September, Wowcher Customer Service got in contact with me asking for more details, which I happily supplied and this morning, 12th September, Prime Holidays have, for the third time, referred me back to Wowcher for a resolution in a’Dear Customer’ cut and paste email. **FURTHER UPDATE** On 23rd September, Wowcher have again referred me to Prime Holidays in an automated reply, for a resolution. This is now seven times in total that I have been bounced from Wowcher to Prime Holidays and back again. I’m fully expecting to be referred back to Wowcher. In summary. This holiday scam is unacceptable so never fall for it. We’re £1331.48 out of pocket. One of these companies has our money and are both refusing to refund it after falsely advertising a non existent holiday, taking our money and providing nothing in return.
I was sold Photoshop 2021 lifetime licence. When Lightroom was installed it updated to 2025 and wants to charge me. The only way this can be corrected, is with the licence number. This was not given at purchase, Wowcher only sent an email asking for it, and when was not answered they just gave up and offered a refund and £5 voucher. They will not answer emails or WhatsApp I cant open my Photoshop files and have bought manuals. Don't Trust Wowcher, They have have not got your back.
Been 10 days since purchased with WOWCHER.So far.Tried contacting WOWCHER. They have no Live chat service. They have no customer service phone number. Impossible to speak to a real life Human being. WOWCHER after sales is run Entirely by Bots. And Exactly the same computer generated Response to any and every issue regardless. Be advised Steer clear of "WOWCHER ".Or your heading for the biggest HEADACHE IMAGINABLE..I will "NEVER"purchase from "WOWCHER" EVER AGAIN.
I bought a Chromebook through Wowcher, which wasn't as described. This wasn't Wowcher's fault, but when I queried why £9.99 P&P had been applied by Wowcher when the Chromebook was dispatched directly from the merchant without the involvement of Wowcher, I didn't get a reply. I have had an awful time with the seller who goes by two names - Renew Electronics and timo Electronics. I asked Wowcher to step in, but heard nothing. I asked Wowcher to refund the £9.99 P&P, but again heard nothing. No direct number I can call. Customer Service is not just atrocious, but non existent. I am out of pocket by the £70 that Renew / Ultimo Electronics have ripped me off by, plus £9.99 by Wowcher for a P&P service that wasn't provided to them. Renew / Ultimo Electronics were also terrible at getting back toe, however they confirm that they did not have to &9.99 P&P fee passed on to them by Wowcher. I paid this in a separate transaction to Renew / Ultimo Electronics
