Xplore/Xplornet may be garbage but atleast they're not marketing 10 Mbps DSL services as "fibe" like bell does. However I still do think it's sad that a company that receives millions of tax payer dollars every year is still offering 100 Mbps in 2024 and bragging about it - especially considering the 100 Mbps 5G service is available in like 10 areas in Ontario.Really. 100 mbps is the best to be offered with 5G uwb? The network clearly uses fiber backbones at almost every tower. But here we are 2024 100 Mbps for 85+$/month
Living in the country our internet options are few. Xplore has been our service provider for a few years now. We leave the country every winter and when we return it seems there is always a technical issue requiring a visit from an exterior service contractor to rectify the problem. The support staff at Xplore try their best and give good service But sometimes it's more than can be fixed over the phone.
Extremely frustrated with this service. We tried to cancel our service 4 months ago, were told they were going to give us 2 free months of service which we said we did not want and to cancel. They said we will keep you on for free, call us in 2 months if you still want to cancel. So we called again after 2 months to cancel and we got the same result. They gave us 2 months free and to avoid an ARGUMENT with them we accepted the additional 2 months free. After the 1st month we got billed for there service. Called and explained to them what happened and they said there is nothing they can do, and they will cancel the service now. They have absolutely horrible customer service for a service that was always complete s**t. I will never recommend this service to anyone and will always speak negatively about the service we received.
I gave them a one because 0 wasnt an option. They have a problem with our cable television feed which hasn't been fixed in 16 days, with no ETA and they keep using different lies to explain the problem. We have had multiple outages of internet, almost daily occurrences. Late last year they charged me late fees on my automatic bank withdrawal because they changed the form, and didn't bother to tell me I had to fill out a new one. The one they supplied online was the wrong one! Incompetence is the only description.
