Keep getting erroneous automated sms texts from them saying I lack credit for auto-renewal, then I top up and get confirmation that auto-renewal has been successful, then hours later I get more messages that I lack credit for the pack that's literally just been autorenewed hours earlier. Also, data randomly becomes unavailable and has 'run out' despite the app showing my ph still has plenty of data, and it starts charging me for every data transmission meaning the cash I've topped up with gets used up first, and it only resets and realizes there's sufficient data available after I connect via wifi. Finally, when I do actually need a data top up, I cannot use the app to top up and have to find and use local wifi, or buy a timed data connection in order to connect to top up, I don't remember having issues this bad with vodafone/one , their geographical coverage was insufficient at the time and i was regularly working in a 'dead zone' but 2degrees did have coverage, but im working in a different location now with excellent coverage by all providers, so I think maybe it's time to replace 2degrees and try spark, one or whatever the other competition is called.
I used to be the biggest fan of this company, but their customer service in recent years has been absolutely abysmal. They remove features, prevent you from being able to pay by direct debit, and then completely ignore you when you contact them for support. The most you'll get is some pointless canned responses which only indicate that they haven't even bothered to read your message. Even if it costs you extra, get your telecommunications services from elsewhere.
Just horrible customer service, gets worse. Signed up years ago, didn't have any issues really. The last 2 years or so, it's become diabolical. Will have to consider dumping them. For whom though? One just as diabolical. Bar is very very low. Deliberate?
It seems everytime this co updates their app you have to put up with major failures. Yesterday was a disgrace no service all day/evening. To add insult to injury I got someone with no commonsense whatsoever answering their helpline. I swear if the person sounds ignorant save yourself the sheer frustration and time and just hang up. He had idea there was an outage nor would accept that this was the problem and tried to blame the fault on my phone! I did eventually hang up - should have done it sooner - and called back and got a woman with some intelligence who informed me of the fault. From a reliable internet provider to one where I'm considering moving to another provider. Also read the room 2Degrees Adern's 'be kind' mantra doesn't go down well with many of us. It's just an ugly reminder of the dark Covid days. Move on
Business Development Manager Nick Earney was extremely helpful in helping our Charity get the most out of our internet plan. He provided all the details we needed and answered all my questions thoroughly. We will be sticking with 2 degrees when our term ends because of him. Thanks heaps Nick
Several times now, have experience very unreliable, and frankly, dangerous service. All of a sudden you won't be able to make calls for no reason at all. Very risky during emergency situations when you rely on your phone to make important calls. Customer service useless as you need to wait 30mins to get answered, and when you do, no help is offered except basic troubleshooting that doesn't help at all.
Agents failed to cancel my account 2 tries and horrible customer service, instead they just switched me to a different plan and kept billing. Even after 2 verbal confirmations of 0 balance and an app which says they owe me they keep billing. Support email is a no reply, phone support is a bad joke. 2D used to have the best customer service, now they are the worst. It seems that 2D standard procedure is to lie about cancellation requirements and then dishonestly extend contracts. They then fall back on threatening for lack of payment, even when nothing is owed. SOP from what used to be an honest organization.
