A guest stole from me

A guest stole from me, lied in a 1-star review, and cost me my Superhost status. Airbnb refused to help because the stolen items were “personal belongings.”I’ve hosted for years with 5-star reviews and even had Airbnb’s own photographer shoot my listing — the stolen speaker is right there in the photos.Airbnb protects thieves over hosts. I’ve deleted my listing for good.

I was a super host for 2 years and…

I was a super host for 2 years and never had issues with my apartment. Once I made the appointment to inquire about booking, since I was having some repairs and maintenance, one guest was able to book for the same day. I immediately contacted the quest, who was not responding to my messages ( read them) then I tried to cancel, but it was a nightmare. Even as a superhost with never an issue, never a cancellation, I was unable to cancel from the platform. I then went to call them on the USA number as the reservation was same day. I was forever with a CS agent, who told me they needed me to show them the invoice for the repairs. I explained that I do not have my husband's friend fix them. Then she asked for a photo as a proof. I could not go into the apartment and take it the same day. Then they canceled but charged me a 50 euros fee ( refunded the guest fully), and they took out my super host status, and also some other penalties. This policy is REDICULOUS! If I am a super host without issues ever, and you remove my status and you charge me penalties and also interrogate me, you have bi,g big issues. I unlisted my apartment after this, and I will use other platforms.

Very poor service booked an appartment which was accepted the host then realised there was an event on that weekend and trebbiled the price , cancelled our reservation to get more money Airbnb gave us 30 quid as an apology be careful what you book on here you are not protected

airbnb is a garbage company and the…

airbnb is a garbage company and the most garbage are the managment and CEOs! They are not only ripping off all hosts worldwide but also are using a unfair and untruthful review systems which are working against hosts who are offer their homes to strangers worldwide! That being said, even if the guest are breaking or destroying something, airbnb never takes any responsibility and never reimburses the damage to the hosts. This is a big issue, and money making pot which is gone out of control, where the hosts rights are being violated regularly in favor of guests and their well being. I hope that this management will be brought to responsibility and for their criminal actions. The guests are writing fake and biased reviews and airbnb doesn't care or do anything to prevent this.

I booked an apartment through Airbnb that turned out to be completely different from what was promised. It was advertised as child-friendly, with a fireplace and a lake nearby — none of which existed. The host became aggressive after I asked about a photo agreement he himself had offered, later threatened with a police report, and doubled the price when I tried to correct the booking.When we arrived, the apartment was dirty — feces in the toilet, stains on the floor, and a filthy shower. After a week of stress and contradictory messages from Airbnb, they closed the chat the moment I provided photo evidence. I’ve been left without help or refund despite multiple attempts to solve the issue properly.This has been one of the most stressful travel experiences I’ve ever had, especially as I’m traveling with a baby. I truly hope Airbnb takes responsibility and reviews this case — both for our sake and so that others won’t go through the same.

I booked an apartment in Oslo -Norway. When I got to the apartment, I noticed that the apartment I got was not the same as the pictures on Airbnb. And there was pee stains on the walls and carpet, the doors were broken and there were bedbugs. I noticed Airbnb support, and was not taken seriously. The case took 1,5 week before I got any kind of help, and they refunded me for the few days I had left. Furthermore it took about two weeks before I could get in contact with anyone from their legal team, which still wasn’t a big help.Can’t recommend Airbnb. The staff doesn’t care about its residents, and seeks to protect the hosts over the guest.

I will never use Airbnb again

I will never use Airbnb again Firstly, useless virtual assistants again and constantly being sent round in circles.I always do my best to keep places clean and tidy, especially after I leave. However, one spiteful host in Skelton near York said that I soiled bedsheets and put this online. I was turned down 2 bookings after this and never before had problems, I've always had good reviews.Airbnb refused to take down this haradon's review. All you get is standardised garbage replies saying they understand.Crap, they don't.They have allowed some toxic puritan misogynist blacken my name.I will never use these again. I'll probably get a computer reply to this.Seriously, couples staying on that bed would cause more stains, drunk people, ill people ,or women on their monthlys or men firing themselves etc, etc I did not fall into any of these and I checked bedding when I stripped the bed.Airbnb just brown nose to hostsGoodbye and good riddance.

An Airbnb Host charged us $800 for a…

An Airbnb Host charged us $800 for a couch that was already broken when we went into the dirty accommodations. We didn't think much of it besides, maybe it belonged to a poor college student. At any rate, the rental smelled bad, the bed was uneven and rocked back and forth, we had to clean the condo ourselves the bathroom door did not lock, floors creaked and there was hair and dirt underneath the couch cushions. Talk about gross.

Horrible Airbnb Experience – Dirty House, Construction Noise, and Useless Support!

Last week we booked a house in Hua Hin, Thailand, for 25,000 THB for 4 nights. What we found on arrival was an absolute disaster.Right next to our rented house there was an active construction site — workers hammering metal roofing, cutting materials, and making unbearable noise well past 6 PM. Inside, the house was filthy: dirty sofas, stained walls, dust everywhere, and layers of grime inside the bathroom fans.Even worse, there were two wasp nests right next to the pool, with wasps constantly flying around. I’m allergic to wasp stings, so we couldn’t even sit outside safely.We documented everything with photos and videos and reported it to Airbnb support within the first hour after arrival.Their response? They offered to refund only half of the amount!That’s completely unacceptable — why should we lose half of our money for something that was clearly not our fault?AirCover is a joke. It doesn’t protect guests — it protects dishonest hosts.We’ve since contacted our lawyers and will pursue this legally, for the principle — so others don’t end up having their vacation (in our case, our honeymoon!) turned into a nightmare.
