Aldi seem to have a poor attitude to their Disabled customers.I have a Blue Badge and my mother asked me to take her to her local Aldi which is Mercury Drive in Wolverhampton. Firstly I couldn’t find any disabled parking spaces so I had to park in one of the many parent and child spaces along the side of the store.I did a bit of shopping while my mother did her main trolley shop around the store. I have multiple disabilities including mobility issues but also I have a bowel condition ( Bile Acid Diarrhoea) which means I urgently need to use the toilet. Near the checkouts there are toilets behind a door, I know because I’ve used them once before but the supervisor said I would have to prove my disability before I used the toilet. I would describe her of Central European origin, possibly Polish, judging by her accent. Although I was in great distress I went to my car and got my ‘Just Can’t Wait’ issued by the Bladder & Bowel Community organisation. When I came out of the toilet I heard the supervisor talking about me in a disparaging way.I wrote to Aldi Head Office, Atherstone about my experience but never got the courtesy of a reply
Aldi fruit used to be fresh and tasty, I’ve noticed over the last couple of years that the fruit like plums or nectarines would take many days even over a week to soften enough to ripen but some remained hard and inedible. The last few months buying grapes that quickly rotted within a couple of days when bought they were hard and sour. A punnet of strawberries I bought yesterday and when opened this evening were full of fruit fly and mushy, juices formed a puddle on worktop.Excuse my pun, but this for my family is the last straw and we will not be using aldi again until they start selling fresh fruit and build up the reputation they used to have
We are regular shoppers at Aldi and have got used to products appearing, disappearing and being "messed about with"BUT.... in recent visits it seems that Warburtons medium sliced (blue wrapper) bread has been discontinued!!!We use both medium and thick Warburtons and will not buy other brands or own label. So, we are now buying ALL our bread from Morrisons or Asda.PERHAPS IF OTHER SHOPPERS DO THE SAME, ALDI WILL RECONSIDER ITS DECISION.*** MESS WITH WARBURTONS AT YOUR PERIL****
Aldi are certainly not the company they once were. A member of staff at Tunstall branch who has been reported at least 3 times previously is still there. Today I heard him insult an elderly customer. His manner is abrasive and he shows a couldn’t care less attitude towards customers. On top of that the fresh produce is generally of a lower standard compared to competitors.
Surprised by.all the negative reviews. Been a shopper of ALDI for many years and really happy with their products and service.Reason for wanting to writing the review, I recently received a car parking fine for staying on on their Drayton road car park in Norwich for too long. They couldn't initially help with the fine but asked to be kept updated.Of course car parking firm Parking Awareness rejected the appeal so I had to pay the fine. I updated ALDI and showed the rejection letter. As a gesture of good will provided vouchers to cover the cost of the fine. Really appreciated the good will gesture. Thanks ALDI
the products were awful - quality wise. i bought some quarter pounders, only to find out they were fragile to cook, and contained cheese in the middle... these were not only impossible to cook, but also a huge waste of time. As for your pizza subs, "3 minutes in the microwave"... 2 and a half minutes later my microwave is covered in cheese and tomato sauce. the inside of the sub is about as stale and bill gate's attempt at windows vista! it's packaging was also a load of bollocks! plastic wrapped up both of the subs in 1... could they have been individually wrapped?!?!
Very racist experience. I went there with my 6 yr old daughter to get daily groceries while going to the till there was a short, average size white lady in the swindon aldi that told me that the till was closed. When another white man came to the till she said the till was open then closed it again. Not to mention she was very rude about it and looked somewhat mad.
A shame that Aldi Yeovil has now come under the cowboy antics of Parking Eye. I use the terminal to impute reg every time I use the store but on occasion it says vehicle not registered. Have now had a parking fine and even with evidence of the receipt for the shopping parking Eye say not enough evidence and refer to terms and conditions not being met. So how am I meant to meet the terms and conditions if the machine does not register I have used it. Think it will be lidl from now on. I suggest anyone using the terminals to take photos of the session as evidence.
