Pretty terrible as of 2021

Use the 4 major Cloud providers and so far.Pros: - Monthly commitment. - Services that goes through the great firewall for better cross-border connectivity with China.Cons: - Inexistant support and incapable of speaking English- No transparency on service availability- Connectivity pricing outrageously expensive due to protectionism that prevent any kind of competition.- Terrible performance on the entry-level instances- Documentation and UI translation issues (Chinese here and there at time)- Take it or leave it mentality.Note: All the good review are from employees. A quick due diligence is required.

Awful first-time customer experience

Signed up for a free trial. Didn't receive anything. Opened a support ticket and was prompted to send a LOT of personal information for ID verification, including passport and bank statement.Never seen anything like this before with other hosting services and cloud providers. Don't waste your time, just use any other reputable cloud provider from top3. I can confirm that top1 company's support is much better and the experience is nicer to customers than Alibaba ever could be.DeepL translation for our Chinese friends:注册了免费试用。没有收到任何东西。打开支持票据，被提示发送大量的个人信息进行身份验证，包括护照和银行账单。从来没有见过这样的事情之前与其他托管服务和云供应商。不要浪费你的时间，只要使用任何其他信誉良好的云提供商从top3。我可以确认，top1公司的支持比阿里云好得多，对客户的体验也比阿里云好。

Alibaba does not care with their customers

Let's start from the Beginning.I bought USD 250.91 on items from a seller named Wenzhou En Ke Jie International on the 03/11/2020. I bought many other items from different sellers and I got all of them, perfect and on time. I was told by the seller I would get my parcel around 13/12/2020. I did not get my parcel by the time I was told. So the maximum i should wait following what trade assurance says is 60 days if it's composed by air/sea shipping. So I waited, I messaged the seller and he did not answer me, I opened dispute on trade assurance for 3 times, in all of them something related to an port nucleic acid test was mentioned as an excuse of the delay and that the seller had shipped my physical package. So I emailed UPS and asked them about my package and about this port nucleic acid test and they answered me that they do not know about this test and they also said the seller only created the label but the physical package was never got by them. There are lots of lies and misinformation, almost 3 months have passed and trade assurance has done nothing to help a costumer. I would love a way to get my money back.

Please stay away from this cloud…

Please stay away from this cloud provider, They are stealing users information and selling it to China, that comes to no surprise since it is a Chinese company but asking me to verify my identity with Passport, Drivers License, ID license, and also credit card number which all needs to be sent to a very suspicious email address and the worse part of this is after they were caught selling indian users information to China just 2 months ago, what an absolute joke!!

Be careful on its "shady" free trial. (Highly recommends you to find other services)

Our team was thinking to move our computing instances into Alibaba Cloud (saw their free trial and advertising everywhere).Sadly, Alibaba Cloud has the worst UX with an awful customer service (they will contact you to upsell and then keep ignoring your problem without solving anything). With that being said, it doesn't even worth your time to compare Alibaba Cloud with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Digital Ocean or any other cloud computing service providers.They even ask for a complicated verification process to get a free trial, which at the end we DON'T get a real "free trial". They still DEDUCT the money from you for its service（Yes they do...). So there is a sense the free trial is created to lure people sign up and then choose the wrong package.Fortunately, they cannot deduct much big enough since we didnt put my credit card (be careful to use your credit card).Do they care about customer satisfaction? Well, don't even think about it (FORGET IT).They will leave you disgusted, with losing money + time and poor experience.If you can use English for doing anything online, it's better to never think about try their service. Just go to Google, AWS or Azure (and stay there).Hope this review helps.

the most underwhelming and painful…

the most underwhelming and painful navigation/dashboard experience, I feel it is totally unsafe to stay...you will spend hours to understand how billing and managing services works but you will find nothing ...and if you subscribe to any of there services it is nearly impossible to cancel it ....you will keep paying for those guys just because you thought : let me try , why not ?

Very clunky copy of Google cloud service, impossible to opt out of the free trial which turns paid after 90 days. Don't waste your time
