Would not get anything shipped from them again they sent my package to the wrong place. It’s been a month and a half been getting onto them everyday. They keep saying I’ll get it in a few days which wasn’t through it’s a joke of a service id run
The worst service you can get in Dublin. No one answers the call, the staff at the post is rude, the calls get unanswered for the longest time and the delivery guys put on wrong feedback of delivery. Why does the customer has to go and collect the parcel when the parcel can be delivered at home? Fake and wrong reasons given against the customer.
This is the best service ever. I've even started writing letters again. It's only when you lose something that you really appreciate it. This is such a personal, friendly and easy service. No other company offers such a complete and reliable delivery. I might be giving today's date as the relevant entry. But I have learned that as an individual, An Post is the most user-friendly service available. Love them.
Trying to pay fine online absolutely a joke get all the the way to payment to verify your email address and it won't let me go any further.Tried numerous times.Typical irish semi state nonsense with a third world payment feature
My experience with AnPost has been appalling. Since moving to Ireland in October 2024, it didn’t take me long to realise that something was seriously wrong with this company. On 8 December, I placed an order with Boots containing an item worth €320, with a delivery date scheduled for 15 December. The order never arrived. After an extensive investigation with the AnPost office — during which I explained the urgency given the value of the item — it emerged that my parcel had been delivered to the wrong address on the very day my neighbours were moving out. I never saw the parcel again. Boots continues to shift the blame to AnPost, and AnPost simply shrugs off any responsibility, claiming they have no idea where my €300-worth of goods ended up.In the following months, I tried to limit the number of orders shipped via AnPost, but in many cases no alternative courier could be selected.A month ago, I was expecting another parcel worth €120. After waiting a full week beyond the promised delivery date, I once again went to the AnPost office for answers. After a 30-minute wait for the branch manager, I discovered he knew even less than the staff. The parcel eventually arrived — 11 days late — costing me more money, an hour wasted at the post office, and four products completely damaged. And today, yet another problem. I had placed the order on 3 September, with an estimated delivery by 13 September. Checking the tracking, I saw that AnPost misrouted my parcel twice within the span of a month and issued incorrect delivery notifications til today 22 September while I am still waiting for my order.Who knows if I have now effectively thrown away another €70.I have lived in five different European countries over the eleven, and I have never encountered such institutionalised incompetence anywhere else in Europe.I am absolutely appalled.
Their driver killed my dog because she was not watching the road and was travelling too fast into our yard. An post were notified by email, by the company that shipped to me, in person at my local post office and in person at the post office in the nearest town. The front desk staff are great but the management both local and operational are genuinely awful people to deal with. The driver changed her story three times, and is still driving the same 2 weeks later. The local manager was not in when I went to the office to make the official complaint so he called me back on my mobile. I had 2 witnesses to the call where he didn't apologise, though acknowledged the death of our beloved pet because of the driver, he shouted at me throughout the 10 minute call and wouldn't me finish a single sentence without interrupting and said they would do nothing about it, not even a refresher safety course for the driver. Thankfully it was caught on camera so the operations manager called me a few days later and I was physically ill after the experience. She was calling to apologise but her apologies were "I'm sorry but our driver was traumatised. I'm sorry but our driver's safety record is the best" Hello, there is now a corpse on that record and " I'm sorry but" is not an acknowledgement of any wrong doing but an excuse for their actions. I can't word how painful this whole experience has been further compounded by trying to communicate basic safety concerns. An Post need better practice. **'Reverting back' to An Post's reply. As aggravating as the whole experience has been, if you're not a bot then you did not read my post. You've been told about this in detail via every channel possible.
I wrote one exact address, they sent it to the address that is nearby, of course they sent it back, there was a very important letter. I understand that no one wants to work, because it is difficult, but what is the point, huh? Your job is to deliver parcels to a specific address, not to invent something new and incomprehensible
